Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!” Isaiah 6:8

Agreed. And there’s maintenance costs as well. But you can also borrow against the property via HELOC loans. I’d still rather hold sats.

Understandable. But you also gain equity in the property while someone pays the mortgage payment.

Slow pitch softball 👌🏻

#bitcoin I'm thinking we should shun influencers who don't actually use nostr. Some are just crossposting from twitter without ever interacting with people here. Look at nostr:nprofile1qqs8k0mcqd6sw3h524qn5gslszt9am9knmes3uh268dgnnpv3yfwj6qpzamhxue69uhky6t5vdhkjmn9wgh8xmmrd9skctcppemhxue69uhkummn9ekx7mp0qy08wumn8ghj7mn0wd68yttsw43zuam9d3kx7unyv4ezumn9wshs8qman7 - look at his interaction with people. There's no interaction. None. Except, apparently he opened nostr one time just to mute me, after I pointed out exactly this as a reply to one of his notes. He could've just proved me wrong, and I would've used the opportunity to tell him I liked his book, but he decided to mute instead. But that's fine - I mute people too, and its just a tool to personalize your nostr experience. The problem is these influencers treating people on #nostr like they don't matter. The dude never replies - to **_anything_** - unless you're an influencer. He boosts influencers. Not a peep to a pleb, though. He's not the only one. The real bitcoiners are here on nostr, interacting with real people, not larping on censorship platforms. But half of the influencers aren't here. And the ones that are, they mostly just circle jerk with the other influencers.

This is unacceptable behavior. Luckily, we can all speak freely on nostr. So I'm calling it out. Jimmy - unacceptable. Other influencers - mostly unacceptable. Bitcoiners - stop letting these people walk over you. Stop fawning after them. Well, you do you. This is my humble suggestion only. Speak up. I can't be the only one annoyed with this behavior.

I always thought his cowboy hat schtick was lame. The guy is always wearing a cowboy hat. Kind of sus.

The year is 1215.

England under King John is marked by heavy taxation, failed military campaigns (notably in France), and disputes with the church.

The elites are discontent.

The barons with military followings and independent wealth saw the kings arbitrary taxation and justice as threats to their autonomy and property.

The barons rebel, occupy London, and force King John to negotiate.

Due to this pressure King John relents and the Magna Carta is signed at Runnymede in June.

Core clauses:

1. No taxation without the consent of the barons.

2. Due process rights for the aristocracy.

3. Limits on arbitrary imprisonment.

4. Protection of the church from royal interference.

Now let’s run it back turbo.

The year is 2025.

The American state holds the legal monopoly on money issuance, taxation, and regulation. Faces growing strain from debt, inflation pressures, social upheaval and geopolitical costs.

An ascendant elite is discontent.

A concentrated group of early adopters, miners, whales, and infrastructure builders who control large reserves of btc. Possess ideological cohesion and can marshall significant technological capacity and economic influence.

A crisis (financial panic, debt rollover failure, or runaway inflation) forces the state to deal.

Bitcoiners, like the barons, leverage their position of strength and control over a large, mobile pool of wealth, plus the option to exit into a parallel system to demand concessions.

As the sovereign debt crisis rages a Bitcoin carta is signed.

Core clauses:

1. Legal recognition of self-custody rights

2. Tax clarity or exemptions for certain transactions

3. Guarantees on privacy for non-custodial use

4. Limits on capital controls for BTC holders

Like the Magna Carta before it this treaty sets legal, societal and historical precedent for the better part of a millennium.

Game. Blouses.

Huh?

He muted all the accounts that liked his post thinking it was hers.

I think you muted the wrong accounts. These likes were for your post not hers.

Summer time slow pitch 👌🏻

Biblical Burn

One of the few bitcoin pods worth listening to.

The most underrated part of reading the Bible, is that you are reading literature from many thousands of years ago. Provides perspective.

You need ID to use Spotify but some people would argue you don’t need ID to vote.

The infighting with bitcoiners is too damn high.

Bitkey looks more interesting the more I read up on it. For a non-tech savvy, early bitcoiner it makes a lot of sense.

lol great for unplugging. I check in twice a day (at most) via a second device. Sometimes I go days without checking in. Feels good.

I love talking politics and religion. As long as you can keep your cool about it, it’s very important. You have to understand you’re gonna disagree and that’s a good thing.
