Your entire life you've been used as a battery.

An unknown artist whos dreams are painted all over the world unbeknownst to you.

It's been happening since you were young, happy thoughts and wild imagination slowly sucked away and replaced with nightmares.

Your unique intuitive ideas siphoned away and sold to the masses, giving credit to those who never deserved it.

All the while you were sold into slavery and silenced. Put to work on a grindstone and mocked by the entire system, going to the movies and paying for a ticket to see a watered down version of what used to be a magical reality.

There has never been a true soul who's sold their heart and soul away for a paycheck.

It took years to scrape together a modicum of your own quality work, while the entertainment industry effortlessly cranks out hit after hit. Deploying its bugs from a massive hive to harvest the dreams of the eternal dreamers.

The only hit put out, was on you. The real artist, living in a fake A.I. driven world, run by mind controlled flesh robots who unconsciously do the bidding of their master.

They feel no emotional pain or empathy. They copy, they steal, they mock, they flock as they work together like gears in a clock. Ticking away all of our time, as we are put to work as slaves for a system that has already stolen everything from us.

Success was always a lie, and you were never meant to succeed. To do so in a world like this would be to play by its rules, and continue trading the rest of your time for numbers on a piece of paper.

A true artist works in secret, and creates for imagination sake. Give nothing to this place that's tried to take everything from you. Spit in its ugly face and keep marching all the way home to the beat of your own drum.

Of course the system will try to copy that too. What else is new.

Understand, maybe 😬

I love the artist, the freedom of expression, and hopefully the completeness and satisfaction. Mostly I have my own experience to draw from and that (and not only that) has proved to me that men were created to produce, something. We need to work and we are better for it when driven with purpose.

Slavery doesn’t have to be, but you’re right, it definitely is a thing. Maybe we’ve been given knowledge and direction to make a change? Maybe.

Thanks for sharing.

“internet money”

“magic internet money”

Do we stop and think about these phrases that are tossed around?

One of my new favorite phrases is to ask my future bitcoiner friends:

“Do you use the internet?” Following up with, “well then you’re going to want to know about internet money.” It’s so simple. But I think most can’t see it because it’s bigger than anything we’re used to. It’s the elephant that isn’t in the room, it IS the room and it’s eating everything.

In listening to content providers of all stripes and years of experience I observe a few things that provide insight into who they really are and if they deserve my attention.

1) the longer they go the easier it is to see what motivates them and what their intention and agenda is. It’s easy to see through facades when one looks closer.

2) the nature of Nostr and Bitcoin’s decentralization seems to be fueling more authenticity. This could be sad: many have, with bitterness, given up any hope of truth, in any form. Jaded outlook, sarcasm and burnout is very real. I’ve seen it and lived it in another industry. Has it affected you? It doesn’t have to be this way.

3) but I couldn’t leave it there. If we stay stuck in the fiat brokenness of the past how will we ever land in the present? Today, right now? Are you here yet? Need a cold plunge? Are you awake? Now is the time to be awake. It’s bigger than Bitcoin and Nostr (though that is beyond frickin’ huge).

4) Love wins. Every time. And it wins the war, not the battles. So leave the happy to those who like to “be happy”. Find the joy. True joy is there, near you, not far away. How is love showing up for you today?

Grace and peace to you my Nostr frens

(1) Homeschooling your children is really everything you do together. Every word that comes from your mouth and every action you do or don’t take, says volumes to your precious little ones. My biggest challenge now is to get across my understanding of Bitcoin. I had another one of those conversations today. Not perfected yet but I’m working on it 😂

Q: Is there a way to view bitcoin as biblical money

Thankful for my family. We’re not perfect by any measure, but the love is thick and wide. My wife serves us every day and I am thankful for her. Our kids are amazing in very unique ways. But the greatest thing is being personally related, and actively knowing Jesus. Being loved by Jesus is the sweetest, and they know it.

(Butterfly pic for effect, beautiful though isn’t it?)

I was a single guy for long enough, enjoyed a lot of things. Now with a family, I ask you, is there anything better than being in the kitchen with family, listening to great music of the 70s while cooking: me making family recipe apple pie, teaching my 11y/o about the fine art of pie crust done well.

It doesnt last forever and it doesn’t get better than today.

I think something rudimentary about teaching savings is good for a start. He can have his own wallet and he gets zapped whenever he does chores at home or reads a book. I think he can gain a lot of lessons from that. nostr:npub14mcddvsjsflnhgw7vxykz0ndfqj0rq04v7cjq5nnc95ftld0pv3shcfrlx had a little girl on his podcast once that would be good listening too. I am not sure if starting with a mining is a good project… but I know nothing of it. I think maybe a standard robotics will project have him and you entertained and on a later project you can integrate bitcoin on it. A toy car or an drone.

Ok thanks. Yeah a robotics thing would really get him excited, and I like getting a wallet so I can zap him for incentive. Still trying to teach the value of a dollar vs value of a Satoshi. It’s harder than it looks

Question about tech for kids I can get my 11y/o son into. He likes building things with me and though he’s not computer programming literate I just found out he has a high IQ (somewhere around 150?). I’m not familiar with Raspberry Pi, might you have a suggestion for something fun he could do or make and maybe learn about bitcoin while he’s at it?

I was thinking mining perhaps? Or something that would challenge his thinking.

ps. those of you who do some amazingly creative and productive dev things, I thank you for your work in the Light. The dark not so much. I am thankful you’re building cool shit.
