"Bitcoin is a hill I'm willing to die on."
C/O
"The Big Print"
I third that notion gentlemen.
Love the wallet bro! It's great!
Reading:
"Conceived in liberty"
"The Big Print"
And
"Let the Right One In"
Can't be limited to just one 🤣😂
Good luck bro!
Finally got DATUM up and running for my miners. I'll probably never hit a block but it'll be really cool if it does happen!
Got Bitcoin knots and DATUM up for my miners. It feels like such a nerd thing to do but... It's really cool to be generating your own block templates.
Makes sense. But in the future if you want to take self custody it'll be good to have your own lightning channels. Because getting to 1M sats for a good size UTXO is going to get more and more challenging
I'm setting up a Bitcoin and lightning node for my church so they can accept donations in sats.
What's your excuse for not running a node?
Walked in yesterday to one of my coworkers wearing an XRP shirt 🤮🤮🤮.
I argue with her all the time about being Bitcoin only. But man that XRP propaganda got her and her husband bad.
Thankfully they also have Bitcoin but they've got a good chunk in XRP. Tried to tell her... You know ripple only SELLS XRP and never buys it.
Microsoft is trying to position their AI copilot as saving 10 hours per week per person. That's why they charge $30/month per user to use it. Get the fuck out of here Microsoft. There's no way it does that. Everything it can do, just use one of the free AIs instead. There's nothing special there.
One of the coolest videos I saw on YouTube years ago was explaining how the teenage mutant ninja turtles were the perfect representation of the four humors.
Basically that each turtle represents an archetype of personality. That's the reason that the was no "coolest" turtle. Everyone had a favorite, not because you matched that archetype EXACTLY, but because it's the one you most aligned with.
They went on to explain that this theme is represented in a lot of TV shows, and the more successful ones are the ones that nail the humors better. You have some criss cross of personality but for the most part they're very distinct.
For an example at the time, big bang theory, whether you like the show or not, was a continuation of this. Leonard is Leonardo, Sheldon is Donatello, Raj is Raphael, and Howard is Michelangelo. A lot of times Raj and Howard would switch humors though.
But you start to see a pattern. Every show with four characters divides into these humors.
And with that note, I was always partial to Donatello. Which is also why I hated Sheldon in BBT because he's supposed to be my humor but he gets things wrong all the freaking time for being the most "intelligent"
I enjoyed it too. Especially because I feel like the "money" aspect of Bitcoin has already saturated those that understand money abstractly. The rest will need to learn by experience.
The fact that he didn't talk about money at all, and was using it for other things was amazing. Truly trying to show that the network is way more powerful than we can even begin to understand.
As you said, I can't really agree or disagree, but it gives you a different tact to take when introducing Bitcoin to someone. Just because you responded to one argument doesn't mean everyone will respond to it. This book gives you alternate arguments that might connect with someone else.
I actually ended up with two copies. I have a first edition thesis and I was able to win a signed hardcover. It's my little piece of Bitcoin history whether midwits want to crap on it or not.
Support the soap miner and he supports you back.
I gotcha bro!
Received the mint and pine tar today. Will be awhile before I get to them though. Great work!

I've said it before but I'll say it again: my wife didn't GET Bitcoin until we went to El Salvador. It was always an abstract, we're too close to the money printer in the US to see how this benefits others, problem.
Once she saw me paying for everything in Bitcoin and tipping in Bitcoin, and how it was truly bringing hope and savings back to people... She's 150% on board.
I know this wouldn't exactly happen... But I want Bitcoin to go lower and send all the scam coins to $0. Nuke it all, give me cheap sats and less grifters.
Valuable advice. I already know I'm going to be a target just because I've been telling all friends/family/good interactions about Bitcoin... But that also makes everyone think you have more than you actually do.

It's crazy to me, and I know I'm not exempt from this, but people just LOVE being told what to do. I know there's not just one factor (school system, parenting styles, work, etc.) But man, people just turn their brain off and listen to whoever is in front of them.
And it still holds up incredibly well.
There's so much packed into that movie. Extremely concise storytelling while being incredibly engaging. It's got everything... Intrigue, action, philosophy, dystopia, utopia, rebellion, dictatorship, romance... Great film!
I woke up thinking if I ever need a group name again it'll be:
"The ferociously solvent"
GM!
