I want to leave the world better than I found it. Bitcoin and Nostr are a step in the right direction. 🇿🇦⛰️🥾 EST: 837 680

Why can't I zap you? I really like seeing this art on my feed

I wasn't at the #Bitcoin Conference, so this is all based on my nostr feed, but the impression I got was:

- FUD around seed phrases

- Stable coins are more important

- sats are apparently confusing?

- and dancing cows...

I am certain I am wrong, and that good things came out of it (probably in the #opensource area), but I just have this bad taste in my mouth now...

I really want to go to one of these one day, but at the same time, I can't bear the thought of paying to get spewed with shit like that in person.

I feel disappointed, but maybe my hopes were too high, maybe I have setup a poor nostr feed... 🤷‍♂️

Major kudos to nostr:npub1k8s3skyy5mg5h07w8zvuk5lgrqadmejz7fjdpl60zaznw8sxzdxqxm6y88 for one of the best rips I’ve ever heard with nostr:npub126ntw5mnermmj0znhjhgdk8lh2af72sm8qfzq48umdlnhaj9kuns3le9ll ‘s Matt Hill, or anyone for that matter.

If you are new to the concept of sovereign computing or just want to hear a methodical review of the mechanics, philosophy and ways of proliferating this liberty in your friends’ and families’ digital lives and communications, I highly recommend giving this episode a couple listens. A real banger. One of the most important podcasts I’ve listened to lately.

This part is just Golden to me 🤣 Maths is great

nostr:npub18h0w55nsp839ezxnggf00jd2xc6yl0ht62mf5p8wwllu8s80wdcs83ws8m , I tried to tip you on this poolcompare website (Awesome comparison BTW), but something seems to be wrong. I managed to load the page that shows the btcpay logo on the bottom, entered a tip amount, but when I clicked the "Tip" button, the value cleared and nothing happened. I can't rule out a problem on my web browser maybe, but double check on your side just incase please.

Goodluck! Its on my bucket list one day.

Everyone agrees that we have a minging centralisation proble.

But Nodes rule the network, not miners.

Nodes must decide what general mempool standards are, not developers.
