Bitcoin & MSTR Writing Self-sovereignty Firearms Food Family Cats Painting

I know ink has been spilled on this topic ad nauseum, by writers more knowledgeable and eloquent. But something really clicked into place for me this week, and I wanted to share.

Humanity was trapped in an endless cycle of states rising and falling. The 'good times creates weak men' meme.

States are incentivised to grow their power in order to justify their existence, because each state is nothing if not a collection of people who are self-interested. But that power must be granted by the populace.

Governments are literally incentivised to break societal bonds, to sap our strength and will, -to make us weak- so that we are inclined to grant them ever more power. If the average person took maximum responsibility for their own life, family, and community, what space is there left for a government to step in and LARP like they're solving problems?

We've been driven to this abhorrent softness over the course of generations, because this is what happens every cycle, in every land, with every people. Because we're flawed, and fearful, and imperfect.

But now we have Bitcoin, and Nostr... And I think these two things will give us enough space to break that cycle and realize our potential long term.

If you have young kids - take a look at them. When we are all gone and they are spending time with their grandchildren, the world will be a blindingly bright place.

In my kitchen, basil, sage, and thyme are the only ones that don't make it to their use-by date.

Deranged.

He acts like a petulant child. Learn your lesson, take the L, do better next time.

This is definitely a central pillar... Eschewing debt is necessary if you want greater control over your life and how your time is spent.

I think the first step is recognizing that you are not taking as much responsibility for your life as you could be.

Then, realizing that taking additional responsibility for your life is a good thing and should be pursued.

I think most people will rationalize away all of the ways they cede responsibility instead of considering how forfeiting their stake degrades quality of life and human dignity over time.

Fucking grats man, years of proof of work on display. Well deserved 🔥🙌

I'm so tired of doing the corporate thing.

Just... ugh.

First world problems for sure. I'll try to wake up feeling more gratitude and less exhaustion.

GN all.

Different things, but are complementary.

I have not, but if you want effective ways to help your liver, look into supplementing N-acetyl cysteine (NAC).

It has benefits beyond liver/kidney detox too. Just keep in mind that it chelates heavy metals, so it might be good to also supplement zinc/copper at the same time so your levels don't get depleted.
