This is a very valid point. The psychological aspects is very real.
I didn't care for the last season, mostly because the theological element felt shoehorned in and I didn't like the end of Starbuck's arc but I don't think it was as bad as what people made it out to be.
Small quibbles about a remarkable show. The tension in s1 is what gives it high marks for me - top shelf storytelling.
They make a ton of sense though. The gov wants you to survive and continue paying taxes.
The first season is some of the best television I've ever seen. I need to rewatch it soon. It's been 20 years?! π
I'm in account management, so I spend most of my time researching and understanding business needs and how to apply my company's software for the best outcome. Some clients, like this one, are not especially technical and they think that software is a magic wand. So I have to temper their expectations and foster a constructive dialogue.
