A reply from my boss about going to work today*. You're missing context here Noshole

I've been considering it for a while. It's a simple mechanic so not exactly deserving of a standalone application. But I do think it can be leveraged so I would likely start with something that shows a way to leverage it.

There is a client somewhere out there that displays multiple feeds in column layouts. I was thinking perhaps I could aggregate the user's follow list and allow people to have a one-click method for loading up feeds from their follow list. Basically shorten the process and remind people it can and should be done. It is an effective method of discovery for sure.

We never had a great blueprint for this to begin with.

I find there is still a hindrance in terms of discoverability on Nostr, but, there is at least one new method that is unique to Nostr which is read-only mode.

It is interesting to sign in with someone else's npub and browse their feed. I would like to make an application that leverages this.

"nostr is like a hackathon project that someone builds about 6 months after discovering public/private keypairs & tcp connections. sorry we tried to build an actual social protocol"

Sums up the history of most leading tech companies.

If it's a question of paper versus plastic, it makes sense to print plastic notes because they are more durable. Biodegradability is not necessarily a desirable property while cash remains a traditional means of storing value.

You are right, people should want biodegradable money, but that won't happen until we overturn the distribution of money from the current Federal Reserve.

Hemp solves this, which is a primary reason it has been illegal across the world for almost a century.

Bitcoin doesn't work, it simply records proof of work.

What "works" is universal consensus of historical on chain transactions. The proof is in the pudding.

(Yes, the relay is also in the pudding.)

I believe we should put as much care into studying the diets and habits of animals as we should studying the diets and habits of people. Both are important. I would never suggest someone pursue a vegan diet if it is unhealthy for them.

For instance, a snake owner will feed mice to their snakes. This certainly wouldn't be a vegan cause, but it is not my place to suggest how a snake should be handled.

At the end of the day I believe humans should not intervene with nature if it can be avoided. If we decide to stop eating animals, it means animals can eat each other naturally. Factory farming produces an imbalance of birth and death. Populations of creatures should be correlating with the natural ecology of earth. Not being forced to exist in hellish conditions and fattened to be consumed.

There is room for humans to harvest dead animals and prepare them into meals for animals we have domesticated.

I knew a vegan lady who would buy clearance meat (not expired!) and she cooked her dogs rice and meat and I am not sure what else. They were VERY healthy and VERY well behaved. One was a teenage boy and still had lots of love and energy. To me this is vegan. Her impact on the meat industry was low and did not pertain to her personal diet.

She made exceptions for salmon but she was a damn good cook. I don't believe she ate any other meat besides the occasional salmon filet for guests.

Thank you for your input. 🔥🌎

Yes, and it never fails to make me feel unsatiated and dirty.
