All aboard the train of cognitive dissonance

We are well beyond 'opinions' on Donald Trump, star of the Apprentice, who was universally respected, and whom you probably thought was hilarious, until 2015.
I support Trump 2024 first and foremost because I denounce stolen elections. If foreign powers and captured domestics steal the election, I want it fixed.
Even if you don't like the guy, he is the only man on earth who has a legitimate claim to the United States Presidency - he won the vote in 2020, provably, obviously.
All the worst warmongers and corrupt government grifters and connected special interests and agencies, with the help of foreign adversaries, have been attacking him ever since.
The way I see it, you either believe in having a president who represents the people based on a fair vote (even if it's not your president!), or you believe in elite insiders selecting the president they want.
If it's the latter, I hope it's because you don't have the facts. But at this point, they are so easy to find...

Donald J. Trump
@realDonaldTrump
Can you imagine, a President of the United States, who got more votes than any sitting President in the history of our Country, and who is also the Republican Nominee for President in the upcoming 2024 Election, and leading in all polls against the Democrat Nominee, Joe Biden, is tomorrow going before a Corrupt and Conflicted Democrat Appointed, Acting New York Judge, on a FAKE & MADE UP CASE by a Soros backed failed D.A., and the Judge himself, to see whether or not he will become a common criminal? According to virtually all Legal Scholars and Experts, THERE IS NO CRIME OR CASE against President Trump, and if there was it should have been brought seven years ago, not in the middle of his Campaign for President. Prosecutorial Misconduct. Election Interference!

I also like his wife and kids. Who doesn't? I watched the Apprentice first 5 seasons or so, that was fun. Ivanka is smart as a whip, Don Jr is savvy and respectable. Trump makes some great decisions, and some questionable ones, as one might expect based on 2016-2020. But my God. It's just fun.
For that matter, Michelle Obama is pleasant, Travis Kelce is charismatic, I listened to Hillary Clinton on a podcast and then had a nice dinner with my kids and enjoyed the rest of the day. Why not?
Many of you are weird, and do not appear stable, when it comes to the opposition - on both sides.
Chill and fix this country. Don't be part of the radically emotional ridiculousness that drives us apart. IMO
He has frequently described Bitcoin as a "scam" and expressed concerns that it competes with the U.S. dollar. In a 2021 interview, Trump said, "Bitcoin, it just seems like a scam. I don't like it because it's another currency competing against the dollar"

A proud hunter displays his recent kill, still fresh and lifeless on the plate. Truly, the circle of life in the digital age!
Commenting so I can share this knowledge with the plebs in future educational sessions
Yeah that's kind of how I think of it too.. it reminds me of houseplants.. I got into them last year and I post on Reddit plant subs and find a lot of people making very common and simple mistakes.. it seems to be that way in the fermentation world too.. a bit more paranoia and fear than real risk.. but there is certainly risk.. I've worked in a lot of kitchens so I generally operate in peak sanitary conditions.. tough to imagine anything less.. your jars of bubbly stuff give me life π€£ I should start growing mushrooms π lmao
To me it seemed like Rogan invited him to get a comedic episode, but I think Howard "played him" in a sense. I think Howard took full advantage of being on Rogan's show to preach his truths. It may come in the form of science, pseudoscience, religion, or politics, but at the end of the day he is free to speak his mind. I respect his ability to make Joe Rogan stop talking. I enjoyed watching Joe slither into his seat and watch a grown man speak his mind. But his questions and commentary at the end were respectable enough. I think Rogan was actually surprised and interested. Perhaps it's all show, in any case, I don't contribute to either of them financially and I don't follow either persona.
Been following r/fermentation for some years but haven't fermented anything myself.. had the opportunity to try some homemade mead once. Definitely want to give that a proper attempt.
Had a roommate try to make kombucha once but I'm pretty sure it spoiled π
Could kick up the protein in your vegetable soup with chickpeas, lentils, wild rice, chia/hemp seeds (if you're into that)..
Some others could be spinach, sweet potatoes, and asparagus. Possibly quinoa on top.
Nutritional yeast is popular. I use it sometimes but can't say I love it just yet. Haven't cooked with it much but it seems to be used frequently in some recipes.
Lots of good options!

You would probably love Russell Brand's take on their talk as well. It's only a 10 minute video but the demand for Nostr is really stark:
It's a vegan soy-based meal replacement. A lot more sustainable to buy in bulk, which I do, but I buy these bottles to keep in the mini fridge at work. Even after drinking it for the last 10 years I am happy to buy more regularly. It is not the entirety of my diet but easily over half.
Entertainers having an entertaining thought experiment on public media platforms? Color me shocked.
Every day is an opportunity to choose better for yourself and the environment.
A single cheeseburger that leaves me wanting more: $5.46
Mozzarella sticks (4): $4.50
Total meal cost: $9.96
Two bottles of Soylent that satiate me for an entire day: $4.98
One meal does not determine your diet.
Other people's opinions do not determine your diet.
YOU determine your diet every time you make a purchase.
It really is that simple.
