New taco truck in my neighborhood with a “we fry in beef tallow” sign on the side. Been slammed for two weeks. Love to see it!

Mfw my local coffee shop owner tells me he has started a business account with nostr:npub1xkere5pd94672h8w8r77uf4ustcazhfujkqgqzcykrdzakm4zl4qeud0en so he can start stacking corn for a rainy day

Seed oil free chips as well. Love to see it.

I know at least one person that backed out of a move to el sal over concerns about property rights - or lack thereof. I wonder is this happening to a lot of people.

Mfw I spend all night tearing the house apart looking for my phone only to find it inside my sons crayon box the next morning

A dangerous trend that will almost certainly end with requiring digital ID as a prequisite for internet access.

The digital ID was rolled out in Australia a few years ago. I knew then it was only a matter of time- as down under seems to be testing ground for a lot of this crap.

Couple of workarounds I have found:

1. Credit cards that charge no currency conversion rates

2. With Wise (formerly transfer wise) you can spin up euro account and switcheroo some of your dollars to euros with very low fees. I had an Aussie bank account when I visited there for a month with wise. Pretty handy as you have a debit card as well.

As for bitcoin fixing this- I think strike has done a good job of reducing the cost of conversion from one fiat to another- but this still means you need a bank account that will hold euros
