My findings so far
Damus: leaks IP, (cant swipe to see what user agent says 🙈)
Amethyst: protects IP, leaks user agent (Amethyst/version_number)
Primal: protects IP and user agent (images appear to be proxied)
Gossip: leaks IP, no user agent
Copy and pasting image URLs is super nice, but if your client automatically displays them, you might be at risk of leaking your IP and user agent 👇
Welcome back Bitcoiner. A lot has happened since you came here with the last flock of new users. Nostr clients have matured a lot and we have so many more people posting diverse content. Here are tips for you.
## Diversify your client use
It's fine to start with Primal but don't stop there. We have a gazillion different clients and they all need users. Do not stick with the first thing they give you. You are in control. Act on it. I for example love to use coracle.social or iris.to
## Follow many
Nostr clients don't shove content into your face. That means it requires a little more effort from you to curate your own experience. Follow more people than on Twitter. Also, use this as an opportunity to follow completely different people than you did before. I for example follow nostr:nprofile1qqsp4a2f2kfkh6qyl9gpqer75kk6t3mz0mwlqu6207qnhwswx8hdjcqpz4mhxue69uhkummnw3ezummcw3ezuer9wchs8h80dn for rug inspirations.
## Run a relay
Are you a gangster who can step up and provide for his community or not? Are you a net consumer or a net producer? That's basically the question. Run relays, seed torrents, install nodes, set up mints, open PRs. Be a gangster.
tbh, I like to follow less here. I did follow many random "bitcoiners" on Twitter in the beginning and many turned out to post trash. Quality over quantity.
I find it quite refreshing to be able to just copy and paste an image URL in a post instead of having to upload one 🤌

You are absolutely right, I don't know if you are the real moizen posting here!
At the very least we still have that safeguard and not a single person can exploit the nostr protocol to post on behalf of any account. That's what I am referring to.
Getting your nsec leaked or stolen sounds catastrophic though. There's no way back.
Remember when major twitter accounts got "hacked" to push the "send me 1 bitcoin receive 2" scam?
Something like this couldn't happen on nostr because every post must be signed with the actual private keys 
It's generally encouraged to immediately plant shrubs and trees to avoid that.
Also, it's not wise to dig swales on steeper slopes.

I feel uncomfortable sharing footage of my land considering people can narrow down the possible range of places by measuring mere shadows. But let me tell you, I finally saw my swales fill with water! We always had fairly poor rains since I moved here but we finally got a big rain event. Magnificient! To know that this water is being held now within the soil is quite satisfying.

On the internet everyone has a recorder with them all the time. Same applies to twitter btw, people take screenshots of stupid takes all the time. Sure you have the chance to spread doubt about it being true or not.
Requesting deletion is like asking a hundred strangers to delete the video of you saying stuff on the town square, good luck with that.
