100%!! If I wasn't a public, doxxed Bitcoiner, I'd be much more private about all this. But just sharing this shit on social media is literally my first line of defense. And now everyone knows what my last line of defense is!
Yo, the Laser Academy dry fire training app + a laser bullet is so f'n cool!
App running on your phone stares at a coded target. Watches for red laser flashes. The laser bullet is chambered into the rifle and lights up when it's hit by the trigger mechanism. But it isn't ejected (however, you do have to rack the slide each time).
The laser has some expected misalignment so you calibrate the app to account for it (the dot is pretty low and to the left here, though some of that is my not-yet-zeroed site + short distance, etc).
So now I can practice my technique by shooting down my hallway! Not a replacement for actual range time, but a huge help for a relative noob like me.
The app has a bunch of different drills and there are like 15 other targets. This "Shot From Guard/Low" drill is my favorite so far.
27.5¢/rd. But then shipping and taxes pushed it up to around 32¢/rd.
Back of the envelope math... interesting: each bullet is about 1333 sats. Could literally zap for rounds if we were neighbors!
Wow, 1000 rounds of 9mm 115gr ammo is 30lbs!!

In that case I'd go with water off a duck's back. Or maybe someone vibing with noise cancelling headphones?
It just doesn't feel like any effort on my part to tune out their noise.
People often ask, why should you run your own private Nostr relay? It's simple. You run a private Nostr relay to backup your own data. This puts you in control of your own data. This prevents you from getting censored or rugged. If anything happens to the relays that you use, you can re-broadcast or transmit your data to other relays if so inclined.
Tools exist in various capacities to accomplish this, but I'll recommend 3 that I've used.
The shadowy super coder route:
https://github.com/cameri/nostream for command line ninjas.
The pleb route:
Umbrel and Start9 both have one-click relay options. Umbrel's is probably the best.
Plus wasn't there some importer/ingester that the Umbrel demo had used?
1. Set up relay.
2. Ingest all your historical posts.
Ha, the meme is hilarious, but I think the more apt analogy would just be someone taking a nap.
I did nothing other than my usual cold storage and yet somehow was magically unaffected by Luna/Terra, Celcius, BlockFi, Voyager, FTX.
Nashville FOMO reason 281:
If I lived in Nashville, I'd get my ammo faster!

I thought there were a couple of revocation schemes, but there didn't seem to be a consensus winner.

Damn, Nostrica flight gets back after their office hours close at O'Hare. And departs before they're open!
Oof. Started the SIX MONTH application process for US Global Entry. Way too late for #[0] but hopefully will be complete before heading back to El Salvador for Adopting Bitcoin.
I'll always be a polishing maxi.
If anyone has any second thoughts about leaving twitter behind, here's what you're missing.

Success!
Replacing the garbage disposal took maybe 2hrs but basically it all went smoothly!
Whoops, there here's the right image.
