Proof that you don't need all the fancy grow lights and racks to start your seeds. These are started in reused plastic food containers.

We recently moved onto our homestead, which is 40 acres of raw land, absolutely no infrastructure beyond our outdoor shower that we just built. We live currently live in our truck camper, so I don't have space for grow lights and racks.

I've seen people give advice to others that either didn't have the money to buy the fancy racks or the space. I want to inspire other to think creatively when learning to grow their own food. Just start, even failure is still learning and growing your knowledge.

Drizzled over sweet potato. Used with dry rub, and used it to make bbq sauce to finish home butchered pork ribs. Recipes below.

Slather to get dry rub to stick:

2 prt yell mstrd, 1 prt apple vin, 1 prt maple syrup.

Dry rub:

2T salt

2T pepper

1 t garlic pwdr

1 t onion pwdr

1 t paprika

1/4 t cayenne

Cook ribs on smoker 225 deg

3 hrs unwrapped

2 hrs wrap in butcher papr

1 hr with bbq sauce

Rest 1 hour.

BBQ sauce:

Ingredients

2½ cup ketchup

1/3 cup apple cider vinegar

3/4 cup brown sugar

1/4 cup molasses

1 tbsp onion powder

1 tbsp garlic powder

1 tsp kosher salt

1 tsp fresh ground black pepper

1 tsp celery seed

1 tsp ground allspice

1 tsp cayenne pepper

We plant a plethora of Marigolds to bring in the wasps after our second year: We lost 2 plants, had 8 of 16 munched in a single night.

We had an odyssey 1 when I was very little. I don’t remember much from it except we had a haunted house game & in order to play it you had to tape something to the TV screen. My real involvement with video games was the Atari though. I spent months playing new games to conquer them all

Raw Cheese Alfredo Broccoli Pizza 🍕🧀🥦

Took a big sourdough loaf I got from a local baker & cut the bottom off to use as a deep dish pizza crust.

The Alfredo was actually a raw blue cheese salad dressing from my cheese guy.

Unfiltered Olive Oil & Avocado Chili Oil on top 🌶️.

I've broken just over 1K followers on Nostr, I have almost 20K on Twitter. My conversations here are better, I get more engagement, more reactions, responses, etc.

I have to say a follower on Nostr is worth over 20X a follower on Twitter. Zaps are just awesome gravy on top of a better experience over all.

I also don't want to punch someone in the face after 20 minutes on Nostr unlike Twitter.

Yeah, better later vs. Early seems to work best here. While everything else is greening up I'm chomping at the bit tho
