That‘s why earning BTC is so great. You spend and replace.
Everybody was full of Michael Saylor, but I was just happy to see nostr:npub1tjkc9jycaenqzdc3j3wkslmaj4ylv3dqzxzx0khz7h38f3vc6mls4ys9w3

Well we’re not even near the first billion…
Main stage! #BTCPrague

„Bitcoin is human rights money!“, me at the @HRF Open Source Activism panel with @JraissatiJorge @ihate1999
and @jardemalie
How authoritarian countries use KYC and AML regulations to silence activists and how the same rules take our freedoms away.

Yep, I know. But it’s a good place to onboard non Bitcoin users.
I just learned that nostr:npub1j9qyxka5lck4tw50v7qfrs6gdwczz5ydt7ugqy6nhuva9p6dpy5q8rs2yg has silent payments already implemented. Also they offer advice on how to harden the mobile wallet for more #privacy on their website.
And: they will integrate Lightning via nostr:npub1mu7nv2jkaq4xausnn098xc8tp3gzgf2w5r2cj68x8dnns0rktmysnsj5cl bringing it to their 280,000 users. Interesting.
For all of you coming to nostr:npub167n5w6cj2wseqtmk26zllc7n28uv9c4vw28k2kht206vnghe5a7stgzu3r this week: I have been using #Lightning to pay for all of my restaurant visits. You can too ⬇️
Spend and replace your #bitcoin. More spending, more velocity, more utility, more value.

Get the Qerko app. Search for restaurants. You can add BTC as a payment method. You scan the code on the table, you'll see your consumation, open your Lightning wallet. Pay. Done. Restaurant owners, waiters don’t even know that you pay them with BTC.
There are also shops accepting BTC natively find them on BTCmap.org
Looking forward!

Cough cough… how can I zap without using the hosted Primal wallet??

One also doesn’t need to call her cunt.
Good bye Telegram!
I never liked you. Unencrypted, scammy and insecure.
Using Signal and SimpleX instead.

The power of open source software and Bitcoin in the fight for human rights.

Gave my new talk about #Bitcoin & Human Rights at nostr:npub1uv2tr83c5y7k82af6zdzlqs8m0klcmndd8u5vmlg2eyrskld6uzsv4rmr8 recently.
I think it’s one of the most underrated topics in Bitcoin.
If we lose censorship resistance and non KYC, we end up with a 21 million PayPal. Nice for the NgU people but definitely not a tool for sovereignty and freedom against authoritarianism.

Haven’t been on Nostr for a while. Recent events are bringing me back.
All central bankers are issuing a tool with which crime is being committed. Who has been put in prison?
#privacy is a human right!

What is your opinion on cashu, maybe via eNuts? Because it's a bearer token, and no fees, it seems like it could be a good fit, although if you're using it offline you have a chance of getting rugged.
My friend says KYC is the main bottleneck, since a lot of people don't have physical addresses. Do you have any suggestions for buying bitcoin using kwacha via https://www.mtn.zm/momo? Apart from having him bootstrap the local circular economy single handed of course 😂
I recommend going to our Lusaka meetup and hook up with the Bitcoiners there. No one is using Cashu at this time. It’s too new. Most ppl have never heard of Lightning.
We have a BFF Bitcoin meetup in Lusaka, Zambia. Is your friend there?
