The UX in building software that way makes more sense to me. Many times I've been overwhelmed by giant configs, not really knowing what it's all for, and inevitably breaking something because the values I choose are apparently unexpected.

On the other hand, sane defaults let me do stuff immediately. I can then figure out all the biases and tweak as necessary later.

I've seen fluff pieces released by some international banks/funds about xrp adoption. I took a closer look at those institutions and discovered they are/were xrp bag holders.

It's not enough that I've done literally all of the legwork for the research paper, they're telling me I have pay them and also convince them to take my money for the privilege of hosting the PDF.

"Competition for publication space and for editors’ attention is very high. A good cover letter will help “sell” your manuscript to the journal editor."

Manufactured scarcity by the scientific publishing industry to maintain its monopoly.

Still using the same keyboard since the days of cs 1.0. Windows key long gone out of teenage frustration of the game minimizing from accidentally hitting it.

Pelosi and Cruz and others still doing this openly for years now, so much so there are ETF products that follow their trades 🤷

Scientific writing is an essential part of my fiat mining but I'm really slow and unproductive at it compared to other things I have to do. I know my work inside and out but getting it on paper is a real struggle for me, even after years of doing it. I figured out that it hits me at odd times of the day where I'll get an hour of solid writing that I'm happy with but drops off a cliff otherwise.

I just get started on my writing weeks /months in advance but just tap into those moments of clarity for hyperproductive writing and just do other stuff in between.

Takes a bit of time to figure out what works but keeping at it is the most important part.
