How I do Value Investing
I use a machine learning classifier to learn from fundamental ratios and growth numbers what stocks appreciated in the last year. Then I use that classifier to pick stocks based on today's fundamentals and numbers.
It is too early to tell if it works. I have only been using this method for 6 months now. Before this I used a value-momentum screener.
Bitcoin (blue line) eventually (in 4 years time) returns to the Gold (red line).
Bitcoin is going to be worth around ~15 troy ounces of gold in 4 years time.
I bought Bitcoin when it was around 10 troy ounces last year.
Right now I am buy gold instead to close arbitrage gap.
The only thing that can separate Bitcoin from Gold, severe energy and material shortages, and the difficulty of mining Bitcoin adjusts downwards significantly, much more than it does for energy and materials needed to mine gold.

In China, during the cultural revolution, there was two types of payment which were mandatory to buy anything. e.g. if you want to buy rice you have to pay Yuan + another credit that government allows you to have rice. You cannot simply bring Yuan, and as that will not get you the rice, you had to bring another type of credit also.
