Remember, we're against the system, not the people in the system.

Its pretty obvious. We're all oppressed. It is what it is, isn't it? It is.

DM me if you wanna change the world.

One thing I love about Nostr is that it is permissionless to sign up. No invites, no waitlists, just get your key pairs and start interacting. No other protocol is as robust to be this permissionless.

SAY NO TO KYC

Data Collection: KYC requires the gathering of personal data such as names, addresses, government-issued identification numbers, and sometimes even biometric information. The extensive collection of such data can lead to the creation of comprehensive profiles, which may raise concerns about the potential for misuse or unauthorized access.

Data Retention: Once collected, the personal data obtained through KYC needs to be stored and retained for a specific period as required by regulations. Prolonged retention increases the risk of data exposure in the event of a data breach or unauthorized access.

Third-Party Sharing: In some cases, financial institutions or businesses may share customer data with third-party service providers for verification purposes. This sharing of information can raise questions about data security and how the third parties handle the data.

Data Misuse: There is always a risk that the data collected for KYC purposes could be misused by employees within the institution or third-party service providers. Misuse of data could lead to identity theft, fraud, or other privacy violations.

Scope Creep: The information collected during KYC may be used for purposes beyond what was initially intended. For example, data collected for regulatory compliance might end up being used for marketing or other unrelated activities, infringing on customers' privacy expectations.

Cross-Border Data Transfers: For international customers, KYC may involve cross-border data transfers to comply with varying regulations. Transferring data across jurisdictions can create challenges related to data protection and privacy laws, as different countries may have different standards and regulations.

There's no need to do KYC or Proof of Humanity anyway.

The only proof you need is my bitcoin balance to pay the things i wanna buy.

Bitcoin solves Sybil.

Games are great with dopamine hits. You do the work and you get rewarded for it. Quite addictive. I've been playing TOTK and I hid my switch from plain sight as its my trigged. #gamestr

Weird that it showed up here lol. So Habla communities are basically Nostr communities.

I wrote something on Nostr. It is super easy to publish here.

Still, it doesn't help them in rivaling Microsoft, Apple or Google. These companies have the advantage of building the best products because they have so much money.

Linux on laptops cant compete with Windows or MacOS in terms of UX, features and the ecosystem of apps. FOSS scales to only a certain degree. We need bigger and better open source projects.

One such project is DeFiLlama, an open source project that rivals VC funds projects in data dashboards. Have you checked it out?

I think it makes sense to just disable VPN only while using bank apps or Netflix like apps. Use it everywhere else.

But if im using the same VPN(and IP) while using my anon apps and my personal apps, they can easily match my identity.

Privacy is safety. Better to have different devices for different identities.

Yes. I'm against it for that one stupid reason. If they start accepting BTC for Twitter Blue(Or Orange?), I'd be more than happy to pay.

Especially because of the constraints that Nostr users can't interact with tweets directly(like how users from one relay can interact with notes on another relay)

Unpopular opinion: Blue check mark is similar to how we'll start paying relays to store our notes/media.

Its just that Twitter's storage is extremely expensive.

But how will you sell the product after you have got the funds? Its open source and Graphene OS needs to be.

Maybe its her way of telling her 'friends'. She wants people to console her.

I suppose in the olden days people used to just cry and all your friends would be next to you to console you. But now all your friends on your phone. Instead of DMing them individually about how your brother shot himself she has resorted to this. A more rational way would have been Insta stories to close friends imo.

We cant 'fix' anything. This is how the world is.
