web of trust is a solid form of moderation
I recently sold most of my ETH, I am still somewhat partial to the idea of smart contracts. I hope some form of it gets built on bitcoin, without the scams.
nostr:nprofile1qqs83nn04fezvsu89p8xg7axjwye2u67errat3dx2um725fs7qnrqlgzqtdq0 is so awesome for this reason.
I believe Ayn Rand called them looters.
Switched my NIP-05 to plor.dev. Trying to use this for my relay, future mint, etc. Welcome!

I think this is part of the strategy, the left will freak out about about crazy stuff, the anti-trump right will say it doesn't balance the budget. Meanwhile lots of money will be saved and have compounding effects people actually see or feel.
I finally forced myself to go over [Storej's white paper](https://www.storj.io/documents/storj-sustainability-whitepaper.pdf) to understand how they're achieving such a high level of availability using just consumer-grade hard drives scattered across people's living rooms. It all boils down to [Reed–Solomon erasure coding](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reed%E2%80%93Solomon_error_correction). You distribute 80 chunks, but in reality you only need 29 to reconstruct the complete data. It would be amazing to have the same or similar error correction implemented into Blossom.
I could see scenarios where I would happily offer 30GB of data storage on my blossom server to have 10GB of distributed, reliable and resilient data across multiple blossom servers.

and my axe!
nostr:npub1xkere5pd94672h8w8r77uf4ustcazhfujkqgqzcykrdzakm4zl4qeud0en has been great so far for holding cash on hand in the event that I may need it for something. But, earning bitcoin on it certainly helpful.
I think I have a few more days for my referral but here is my link you’re interested in utilizing it. We’ll both earn a little something when you sign up

using your reflink, thanks
Way late, but here's my 2023 Reason interview of nostr:nprofile1qyg8wumn8ghj7nn0wd68ytnhd9hx2qg4waehxw309ajkgetw9ehx7um5wghxcctwvsqzp6y2dy0f3kvc0jty2gwl7cqztas8qqmc5jrerqxuhw622qnc2pq3x3x7wj and nostr:nprofile1qyv8wue69uhk6mmwv9jzu6nzx56jucm0d5arsvpcxqqs6amnwvaz7tmwdaejumr0dsqzqvhpsfmr23gwhv795lgjc8uw0v44z3pe4sg2vlh08k0an3wx3cj9zs5e6s , cohosted by nostr:nprofile1qy28wumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnyv9kh2uewd9hsqgq3rktwumf5s7xettalu593lq8gzftdwe38dw9zqn0rgcv9y43y9cxqml2x Are the predictions on target or not? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pi2JbHWd_BM
Is this really him? Would be good signal if so.
Didn't know this was a thing I needed, but going to figure out setting up a mint I guess.
don't worry about breaking anything on GitHub. it is read-only unless you're signed in and have permissions on a repo, and it is a few step process even then.
a more explicitly Chinese app that a bunch of tiktok refugees were moving to. momentum stalled when people realized the app named to reference Mao was enforcing speech codes.
I have used fedora for a few years. Good basic GNOME distro with solid ecosystem. I might try nobara as well.
right, at least not publish to those. outbox model and that.
you could add that feature to your relay technically. auth + filters. but this would be specific to your relay.
you should get your zaps set up so people can zap you for your bread.
I am becoming an "opinionated event kind" maxi. Nostr kinds could be designed for specific user experiences instead of general types. Like the picture kind Olas uses. Right now it accepts multiple image sizes but we could have one kind that only takes squared images for those clients to use.
It's similar to nostr:nprofile1qy2hwumn8ghj7erfw36x7tnsw43z7un9d3shjqpqdergggklka99wwrs92yz8wdjs952h2ux2ha2ed598ngwu9w7a6fsr4ma0r 's pitch of kind 1s with a 240 chars limit. We could copy kind 1 into a new kind whose expectation is to render only the first 240 chars of content and ignore all the rest. We could have Nostr clients that only render (and make the best UI for) those events.
Is polymorphism a thing to strive for of avoid here. It seems like most note kinds inherit from kind 1, but they either restrict for more specific clients, or add additional "features". I know polymorphism is not as popular as it once was, but maybe.
