I'm a web developer and I like video games and sci-fi and cartoons and I've watched all of Star Wars and the MCU (more than once). Also Aliens, Predator and Terminator are the trifecta of awesome imo and sometimes I don't go to work so I can play video games instead ๐Ÿ˜„

I discovered a brand of jalapeรฑo seasoning salt called Konriko a few years ago and I've been using it everywhere I used to use regular seasoning salt like Lawry's or Cookies instead, love it! ๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿป

I just noticed that in the beginning of Season 5 Episode 18 of #TheCloneWars called The #Jedi Who Knew Too Much, #Yoda is giving a eulogy for some fallen Jedi and asks for a moment of silence and Ahsoka immediately starts talking ๐Ÿ˜„

In case anyone else is playing KOTOR since it's free on mobile from Epic rn and it's been a while and you're running around exploring the sewers....do not fuck with the rancor

I always force stop Amethyst when I get done scrolling otherwise it consistently keeps streaming stuff from my feed and using data in the background, and it's usually stuff I didn't even interact with. #amethyst

Here's a link to the entire Pro Git book that they published for free, it's a great read that I'm still in the process of reading myself https://git-scm.com/book/en/v2

I thought only mammals made milk, what is this white stuff that comes from ๐Ÿชณ ๐Ÿชณ really?

Ordered some parts. Fingers crossed that the fan actually arrives... It says it'll arrive in a month, and I've had stuff like this just not arrive ever. It took me a couple of days to be sure I was getting all the right stuff and that I'd know how to install it. Fan, RAM, SSD. The fan is most important. The one that died is making the scariest noises I've ever heard, straight out of a horror movie. I hate horror movies. I'm thinking of just taking it out and having no fan there for a month, despite websites warning not to do it. Its not blowing anyways, so can it really hurt?

IF everything goes to plan, I'll be ditching windows for good and my laptop will go from low end to quite high end. The motherboard and CPU are great, but the SSD is junk, and I think that's why it was cheap and why it broke.

The part I couldn't find adequate information on was how to migrate data from an old drive to a new one, with the intention of throwing out the old one - specifically, how to move Windows to the new drive. Since I couldn't find that, I'll just put Linux on the new drive, and I guess I'm assuming that process will direct it to boot from the new drive. IDK. I guess I'll find out.

I have a few days to brush up on my Linux skills, which are quite bad tbh. Not a total stranger, but definitely no wizard.

TBH I'm kinda scared. I haven't done this before. And the documentation for this pooter is absurdly inadequate. Like, how does the manual not have a parts list? I am having to trust a reddit post about which fan to buy because that info isn't listed anywhere... Not anywherrrrrrrrrrrre.

I'm about to remove this fan. Someone tell me if I should put it back. Its not blowing and it's super noisy.

It'll probably start overheating eventually without a fan and when it hits a certain temperature it'll just shut down to avoid damaging the components. You could try cleaning the fan with some compressed air, or just take it out, wipe it down and clean it the best you can ๐Ÿ’จ

I just found out yesterday that most people don't specify a flavor when they order one and restaurants just grab a random one

Excited to start this bad boy today, it's the story of what happened on LV-426 (Newt's colony) between when her dad got face-hugged and when the crew of the Sulavo arrive. #Aliens #Xenomorph

Chuck eyes are so good! A very delicious steak a lot of people don't know about, it's the cut from right next to the ribeye

There are some pretty great remixes of that one out there, I dig this one https://music.youtube.com/watch?v=ja9AIwXl1PY&si=EWa-XD-3yAxI12ep

As someone already said, fat side up. And I don't trim the fat all before I start smoking it. I usually trim some after, but you want the fat on there and rendering down into the meat while it's cooking. Also like others have said, I found a nice Bluetooth thermometer that gives you the internal temp of the meat and the ambient temp inside your smoker and it works great, it's called a Meater.

Anyway happy smoking and practice makes perfect ๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ–๐Ÿ—
