Unfortunately, I don't use iOS so I'm limited in how much I can help with Damus or other iOS-specific issues.

Currently, Bitcoin is treated like an asset, to be acquired and hoarded. But when all the coins have been mined, the dynamic will shift as transactions become the focus of the network. At that point, its use as a currency will overtake its use as an asset
He's using iOS, and Damus. Currently, he's using Coinos, but he wanted to try Cashu Wallet because Cashu has full support for ecash while Coinos only supports minted by it's own mint. You can't redeem tokens from external mints with Coinos, which makes it pretty useless.
That's the way, but I often have trouble abiding by that philosophy.
It's always frustrating when a client decides to buck the standards in favor of some unique implementation. I wish interoperability was prioritized more often than it is.

Still very cool. I've never been to Barbados, but I've been to the Cayman Islands and Belize several times. It's so beautiful down there, and the pace of life is so agreeable with my personal style.
