Handyman engineer. I bounce from project to project. I'm often called in to do the finishing touches, bringing 90% complete projects over the finish line. I'm good at making disparate systems talk to each other. * Zaps powered by nostr:nprofile1qqsf07zg4hxyccnkdp07fppxmetpfzru3fg6mgzx3nk8r7af8qnjjyg76vulm * On-chain powered by nostr:nprofile1qqsvxq03xdev3uxehjqcdkr5lfzl5vawmcf7vm6ps73m6ghwg8y4k2shaefxp *Always Buy the Dip* #privacy #security #linux #Android #networkengineer #infosec #SimpleX #dogs #cats #pets #cooking

I tried with my Lightning node, Minibits, and Coinos. All which work everywhere else without trouble.

I don't the problem is my wallet. It adheres to NWC standards, and it works literally everywhere except this issue with Olas. It seems like Olas isn't saving my NWC connect string. And I just tested it with two other wallets and it does the same thing. I paste the connect string, hit save, and nothing happens. I'm almost positive this is a problem on the Olas side.

Olas?

Yes... Shit. I forgot to mention that I'm talking about Olas. Hopefully people figure it out. Or at least Pablo does! Lol

Not sure if this is a known problem, but I'm unable to successfully add my wallet via NWC. I enter my connect string and hit Save, but nothing happens. And when I go back to the wallet settings page there's no indication that my connect string was saved, and my wallet is active. Perhaps nostr:nprofile1qqs04xzt6ldm9qhs0ctw0t58kf4z57umjzmjg6jywu0seadwtqqc75spz4mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfduhsz9mhwden5te0wfjkccte9ec8y6tdv9kzumn9wshszxnhwden5te0wpuhyctdd9jzuenfv96x5ctx9e3k7mf0dv4ph5 can shed some light on this?

This one is significantly better.

Finally, someone talking sense...

They're two completely different types of apps. One is an app store, and the other is a universal installation and update tool. I don't see how replacing Obtainium with ZapStore makes sense given the limited number of apps the ZapStore provides, and the superior installation and update functionality Obtainium uses.

But Coinos doesn't have full ecash functionality. It's OK if you want to create Cashu tokens, but it can only redeem tokens created by the Coinos mint, which isn't very usable because most people don't create tokens from Coinos mint. Cashu Wallet paired with an @npub.cash LN address is probably the best wallet to switch to coming from eNuts since it offers full Lightning functionality as well as full ecash functionality.

Now that nostr:npub1dx5q2el8nd4eh3eg9t2e25fd7zuqg7zxz6ldkc3uzgh66ss2yc6st288sj is no longer being maintained, is there any possibility of Minibits coming to iOS?

When did eNuts turn into a dead project? I had a feeling it was no longer going to be maintained. There were just better options leaving it without a purpose. I think your best bet is to use Cashu Wallet until an iOS version of Minibits is released.

Art doesn't involve destroying other people's property over and over again. There's a world of difference between taggers and graffiti artists. One produces art, and the other is a parasitic scumbag with no regard for anyone but themselves.

Tagging is not art. It's the product of egotistical scum who celebrate themselves by putting their name everywhere they can. They destroy other people's property for their own self-aggrandizement. And when the property owners make the expense of painting over their tags, they're back the next day to put their name on the brand new blank spot. Because one-upping the people who own and maintain property is part of the excitement for them.

I was going to subscribe to Apple TV so I could watch of the original shows they have that people have been talking about. Then, I discovered that there's no Apple TV for Android or web users. It's literally Apple only. That's some fucked up bullshit. Why would they limit their subscriber base by denying access to Android users? I'm bitter.

It's fodder for a dishonest agenda.

This is meaningless bullshit. You can't characterize two populations 150 years apart by comparing the physical shape of two individuals. This is disinformation intended to convey a specific message couched in the language of a scientific comparison.
