Did you use an additional yeast or just let the natural occurring yeast to develop? I’ve been getting good results with fruit meads just letting them naturally ferment.
We get Great Lakes. Don’t know if it is any better.
Not enough to truly identify, but it looks a lot like agaricus cupreobrunneus

I just read up on them. It looks like they will ripen PNW. I am going to give them a shot next year.
I like Gilfeather’s Turnip, but I just grow Swedes now. I thought it was a bit redundant to grow both.
