Perpendicular is fine for me but I don't have a specific reason why.

PSA: nostr:npub1hu3hdctm5nkzd8gslnyedfr5ddz3z547jqcl5j88g4fame2jd08qh6h8nh is the real Carla.

There is a scammer trying to impersonate my inimitable wife.

This is a good reminder for everyone to check the NIP-05 ID! The real nostr:npub1hu3hdctm5nkzd8gslnyedfr5ddz3z547jqcl5j88g4fame2jd08qh6h8nh has Carla@nostrplebs.

Also the real Carla will definitely never DM you about your “crypto goals.”

Happy Monday, fam 🤙

I wonder if anyone on Nostr would actually fall for it.

Yeah, the trade off is ease of use vs bandwidth and other resources. Depends on the user. It's nice having multiple options.

That principle is nonsense but the conclusion is definitely funny.

Yeah, pretty much. I'm just not sure about automatically muting. Should be explicit I think.

I wonder if it'd be helpful to have "publicly mute" feature that would suggest people who follow you to consider muting as well.

Oh, yes, "why would I need to change" is a common question. I'll tell you a story.

Until about 8 years ago I didn't wear glasses. I always thought that I see well, I could read fine, I could identify objects... And sure the more distance from me the harder it was to see. But that applies to everyone, right? Until one day I randomly looked through the glasses of someone else. I was amazed "what the hell, this is like seeing in full HD!" So I went to the doctor and got prescription.

Years later, very similar story. I personally wasn't aware of any health problem but for some time I was curious about carnivore. Then one day I watched the talk I linked and I thought "This is so interesting! I'm finally going to try it." So I did.

A few weeks later I got an insane surge of energy. I felt like I could fly. Went to gym and after a proper workout I still felt that I could probably do a marathon. I was also subjectively and objectively smarter. I could think better and I had much, much better score in puzzles. My sleep was also great I always woke up instantly ready to work. Didn't feel like that since early childhood. And my procrastination plummeted. Even my vision felt clearer and more focused. I was amazed.

I had no idea this was even possible. For years I lived in the dark putting off trying. And this is what I regret about carnivore the most. Not doing it sooner. (Side note: since then I messed up some things and I struggle to get the energy back. Other people don't seem to have this problem.)

Of course if you have tons of energy, wake up fresh with zero fatigue there's a good chance you won't see a difference. I can't tell. Nobody can. And of course if you love vegetables more than the idea of feeling like this, that's totally understandable. I myself don't.

I totally believe you are already waaaaaaay healthier than most of the population, so congrats on that!

Not sure if he initiated it but he was greatly involved from what I remember.
