#DevOps Engineer with a heavy focus on #CloudOps with #Kubernetes #k3s #Rancher #Helm. Smithing my own cloud services, for the infrastructure I build, with #Kotlin #PostgreSQL #SpringBoot on #Docker #containerd #Linux #Alpine #Ubuntu. On hobby projects I'm working with #Nim #Rust #Julia #Nu #Ballerina #Nix.

I'm not sure what you would need that for. I would recommend you to just install BTCPay Server & see what it offers.

It let's you connect to a variety of things, including a full #Bitcoin node.

That said, I'm not a #Bitcoin expert, I just set up a BTCPay Server & saw, that one may choose to let it use a full node.

You can just select, that you want a full node & it will handle the rest for you.

nostr:npub1acg6thl5psv62405rljzkj8spesceyfz2c32udakc2ak0dmvfeyse9p35c and I re-wrote NIP-65 to make it easier to implement. Amethyst will be moving to the "Gossip model" as soon as we finish this Private DM/Group workstream.

Then we say goodbye to the old infrastructure that centralizes in large relays.

Together with nostr:npub1utx00neqgqln72j22kej3ux7803c2k986henvvha4thuwfkper4s7r50e8 's new relaying.io service, we can finally start claiming a healthier decentralization in Nostr.

As someone who is still pretty n00by regarding #Nostr, I want to comment on a specific issue I experienced too many times.

Someone posts something from/about someone else & that someone is linked via pubn.

I get onto that pubn & see nothing. Nothing ever finishes loading, because we are apparently on separate relays & I don't even know how to find that user's relay, since I cannot see any information about this profile, at all.

I would strongly prefer to have the ability to see profiles of 99% of users without issues, except those who explicitly are not public at all & literally close themselves up in a gilded cage.

In order of how much he loves them.

These are your average every day Americans. They live up to the idea of USA's freedumb.

Fuck the USA, btw.

Wow, did you just delete a post & post a new one? 😂

Everyone implied that's impossible here.

Though, technically it is possible with nice relays.

Probably yes, but I haven't looked into it just yet.

I am looking into using this: https://github.com/canostrical/blogsync

in combination with maybe a PHP-based blog engine. It doesn't have to be complicated; I just want a blog and a few other pages. nblog, ublog, blogstack etc do not seem to have this feature (yet?).

If I come up with a neat solution, I'll talk about it. Probably a docker-compose setup with blogsync running and the output mounted in the other container to read from? Something like that.

Tell me, if you need help with your #Docker setup. ;)

#Mastodon instance gone.

You can see a tiny goodbye message at https://ingwie.me :)

Next up; Blog powered by Nostr. There is uBlog, but there are also tools to sync the posts as Markdown files so I can use other software as well. I'll investigate this more - because I basically want to build a "profile page"; a blog, contact info/socials and maybe some interesting links.

But... at least I got some storage back on my server now. yay :)

Can this be achieved through the convenience of a Git "server"?
