For everyone to see? I don't see the point for this.
The only reason it might be useful is for charity, but that's a rather niché case.
Especially your out of sync related arguments are strongly opposing the notion of showing the lightning balance.
Since you asked, I will answer from my point of view, where I wish more development resources would be spent on.
I experience sometimes huge performance problems with Amtheyst. When scrolling & reading too much, the app becomes unresponsive & I can barely get out of it.
Me, last Friday afternoon.

Weirdly, for me it's the other way around. XD
Sad thing is, they are doing it, because it actually works. It's not outrageous to claim, that the vast majority of people around the world are dumb as fuck.
For example, how do people fall for scams via ads on websites?
They know, it cannot be true, because it's too good to be true, but they still click on it, because they want it to be true. Wishful thinking.
Then, they cry about ransomware etc... Many just have to learn it the hard way. ;)
It's also important to not forget what the price is for the benefits of Apple products. So, even if iOS were faster, Android can do soooooooooooooooo much more....
No need to De-Google. Just strip it down with microG or whatever & you get all the speed you need.
And I did not even mention all the anti-repair crap that an iPhone encompasses. XD
Like, I cannot even use a generic phone charger. This must be some scam.
Install any third party app store.
Install third party apps without any connection to any Apple service, whatsoever.
Access all my user files (non-root) via MTP on my computer, without using any Apple service whatsoever.
Using it without an iCloud. Maybe possible, but, as far as I know, you have to cut a lot of possibilities, if you commit to that.
Flashing custom ROM or the ability to manage ALL apps on the phone the way I want to, without restrictions. If I want to delete an app, even if it's one from Apple, let me delete it.
Having everything work on a generic PC, for example running Linux, just as if I'd be using an Android phone.
Being able to develop on the system I use. In this hypothetical scenario I would use an iPhone, so this would be my system & I would like to develop anything I like for it, without registering & begging Apple for permission to develop something for the device I legally BOUGHT & OWN, which means, I should be able to do whatever I want with it, without any registration or connections to online services, whatsoever.
I highly doubt that.
Can you point to specific models, version numbers & actual incidents?
What you said sounds like you never touched an Android phone or you bought one for 20 bucks for a single day to compare it to an iPhone that's at least a 1000 bucks.
If you compare an Android phone, you have to actually buy it from the same league. So, if you paid a 1000 bucks for an iPhone, your comparable Android phone has to be at least 800 bucks.
This is for alcoholics who try to fool themselves, rather than actually recovering.
What problems are there on Android?
If I'd have an iPhone I would never be able to use it, because it does not allow me to do anything, I need to do.
Most importantly, flash a custom ROM onto it.
If you can get your hands on a good recent Pixel, you can go with that & #GrapheneOS.
Yeah, I'm still baffled how people are "excited" for all the passwordless crap Microshit, Google and other exploiters are working towards since years.
They basically want all accounts to be passwordless in the next 2 to 5 years or something.
I know "why" people are swallowing it, but still - WHY.....?!
There must be some limit or else a malicious not could just spam post entire 1000 page books per post per minute. Would be ridiculous & even text uses up space, which sums up in such huge quantities rather quickly.
I guess, something like a 2000 character limit would be something acceptable to start with.
The scam video also pretty much looked the same. They were advertising for some penthouse in a paradise, where there was supposed to be a meetup, but if you dug deep enough, you knew it was all part of the scam.
This video seems like the same shit.
I think, it's not clear, what this is about. This is about this voice-over actually being used for scam conventions, like MLM meetups & shit.
Which is, why I wondered, whether this is just a paid Fiverr guy or if he was actually part of all those scams.
Certainly to me, the video seems not credible at all, reminded of scams, the entire time when watching it.
Problem with China is, your statement is somewhat true for now, but not for your entire life.
In 10-20 years China will be everywhere. They basically bought major parts of Africa & are a lot into European projects, where they "altrusitically give" little nations some "donations", just so these nations aren't able to pay back the actual loan, i. e. making themselves absolutely dependent on China, which was the communist party's plan all along.
They'll exploit that and take over major parts of the world. Basically modern colonisation.
So, when you travel in 10 to 20 years, you might as well hit "Chinese territory" within 500km of your current position.
Microsoft.
Simply a pragmatic choice.
I've spent many years of my life on Windows, used tons of Skype for private conversations, back when I was a n00b. (Skype wasn't owned by Microshit yet, but I doubt they just delete every trace of past actions, once they took over.)
Now, I need Microsoft Teams for work related shit, anyway.
So, it'd be Microshit because that ship has sailed a long time ago. :)
