The event almost broke even in terms of cost thanks to the generous zaps we received. The venue costed us 800 fiat units and we received a total of 564940 SATs. Ya, unfortunately one day isn't a lot of time for building stuff together. I think the main value in such an event is bringing smart people together and getting them to talk about the problems they are facing.
However, we are expecting quite a crowd and I'm sure there will be people who prefer to get things done. The Holzmarkt Café confirmed that they will be open from 10:00 till 19:00 and they are happy to host nostriches / Bitcoiners who need a quieter space to build.
The intros at the beginning could be useful for people to figure out who has overlapping interests.
