Yeah you're probably right. I guess I hope I won't always have to feel alone though. At least some part of me still hopes that.
Thank you to Hunter for following me
This actually was a major fuckup on his part. We all have blind spots then. What are mine?

This morning at the hotel in #Andorra, I spotted a girl who works here and immediately knew she was Dominican like me.
I hesitated at first but decided to ask her. I'm so glad I did because she was indeed Dominican!
We hugged at least five times, shared some laughs, and exchanged our thoughts.
The emotion, love, and sense of belonging I felt afterward were indescribable.
It's been four years since I left my homeland, the Dominican Republic.
Being an immigrant really changes your perspective. You learn to appreciate the little things, find joy in unexpected connections, and realize that home is more than just a place—it's the people who make you feel at home, no matter where you are.

I saw another Aussie exiting Tokyo airport metro to get into the airport where they have this rule where you have to pay half the train fare when you buy a ticket and the other half when you arrive at your destination. I was like 'this is fucked' and he was like 'yeah this is completely fucked'🇦🇺

Just don't age or get sick and need a hospital or nurses trained in
public schools or public universities funded by public grants or who hold government bonds to exist in states policed by public police defended by public armies with public laws upheld by public judiciaries funded by public taxes raised by public administrators educated in public institutions....
This is not really true. Inflation is a byproduct of people wanting free stuff from the government. Unfortunately, those most ausceptible to the harms of inflation are those most likely to be taken in by politicians who promise free stuff to them. Given this has been happening since ancient rome, I'm not convinced that this is something humans will ever be able to get rid of.
There are already sci-fi fiction that features a decentralised currency, although that isn't the focus of some: 'snow crash: neal stephenson', 'cryptonomicon' and 'Diamond Age' by same author. I read a little of Snow Crash and didn't take to it. Also 'Down and Out in the Magic Kingdom' by Cory Doctorow and 'The Mandibles' by Lionel Shriver.
I really think it has to be time. Maybe that's a specific form of information, but without time I can't see how energy or information can exist, since existence is predicated on time passing. Does that make sense?
Biden proves to be cognitively impaired > doesn't drop out of the raise > bond yields rise as people lose confidence in US > yen breaks out > BoJ forced to sell bonds > yields go higher
Are we in a bond doom loop right now?

Gundlach floated the idea lately that US could say that any bond coupon will be capped at 2%, which would dramatically reduce the govt interest expense but also make the us treasury market instantly illiquid, so us couldn't issue more debt, resulting in massive austerity. This would solve the problem of debt going forward. It would also likely not be good for bitcoin, as it would make us dollar harder.
Not a huge fan of eggs
What happened to all being in it together? We can't exactly go to another planet. We gotta deal with things around us one way or another, or it becomes south africa, where we get into smaller and smaller worlds of our own until even that gets taken away
