Very cool, congrats Zach!

What's the purpose of event kind 34237? Is it just for tracking? Can't watch videos without signing

I'm officially leaving the fiat mines next week.

And... ZapThreads has been selected for an OpenSats grant!

Beautiful coincidence. Incredibly grateful.

Too many ideas, too much energy to put into freedom tech.

2024 gonna be lit. LFG πŸš€

nostr:npub1l2vyh47mk2p0qlsku7hg0vn29faehy9hy34ygaclpn66ukqp3afqutajft did you ever publish your app for key migration? I can't find it...

Do you mean https://kind0.io/ ?

Help. Trying to add a Mastodon user via mostr.pub but I get an "Account not found" error. What does this mean exactly?

Specifically @marcan@treehouse.systems (https://social.treehouse.systems/@marcan) - also tried with the social subdomain.

Anyone knows? nostr:npub108pv4cg5ag52nq082kd5leu9ffrn2gdg6g4xdwatn73y36uzplmq9uyev6?

Been using it for a while, it's so good. Lacks a few things like HDMI support, night shift, but things are coming along nicely. If you have any questions lmk

I'm an asahi linux maximalist

My only issue is the need for an account identifier and having to trust them on privacy. Want to try it out though. I know bigger search engines do this via web fingerprinting but there are ways around it

Have you tried kagi.com? I find their paid search approach very interesting

Easy man. I don't enjoy conversations without nuance or thoughtful analysis of tradeoffs, that is why I didn't continue talking. "Apple is an enemy of freedom tech" is not an argument in the context of what was being discussed.

I said Apple made a good design decision (who knows, probably back in the '80s) about choosing Command as a modifier key. If you answer with "Apple enemy of freedom tech" is like, yeah bro sure, but it has nothing to do with the conversation.

As for hardware. There are really no foss hardware/firmware options on which to install a foss OS. Given the choices in the market, I am picking one which I feel is the best overall tradeoff between privacy and performance. Pretty much everybody is running Apple, Intel, or Google hardware. As a matter of fact GrapheneOS only runs on Google hardware, is that bad because Google is an enemy of freedom tech?

Peace
