Do you have any proof of them harvesting data at the hardware level? Sources?

Most Linux users run Intel with ME enabled which has been proven to be a backdoor.

All of the issues I heard of are related to their software and that's why I use Apple hardware with free software

I haven't. I don't like Ubuntu that much and I think snaps are too tied to Canonical. With flatpaks you can easily change source repositories

Third time this week I say something positive about Apple before getting cookie-cutter "big tech bad" replies for fuck sake.

I'm not saying all they do is good. A lot of it is awful. I know, I'm deep into freedom tech. But they make some things right and those must be acknowledged or even used.

Choosing Control as a the main modifier key on Windows and Linux was a mistake.

The key is too far on the side so Ctrl+C/V is uncomfortable, and trying to Ctrl+T is terribly un-ergonomical.

Mac got this right.

Running non-FOSS software is fine if:

1) it runs in a container

2) it has no network or full disk access

Morning dude! Same here πŸ€¦πŸΌβ€β™‚οΈ

Both nicotinic acid and ivermectin have multiple mechanisms of action (like doxycycline for example), so it could be a lot of different things

I wish I could say the same. When I was 19, I started reading 1984 but then got bored halfway and abandoned it. Didn't think much of it. Some concepts stuck though, like the idea of a telescreen or how language was manipulated, like the famous passage about war is peace, etc
