Hoping that will start to happen!

And if some lunatic wants to denominate it in Shiba Inu, they should also have the choice.

Getting rugged is a human right!

Cannot believe I was not following uncle nostr:npub1j8y6tcdfw3q3f3h794s6un0gyc5742s0k5h5s2yqj0r70cpklqeqjavrvg. I'll fix that right away

Hard challenges ahead, but I'm so fucking bullish on this community

It's a big deal. Just one month ago before Milei took office, my uncle could not sign a rental contract denominated in USD, the notary public refused because USD is not legal tender here. Only the ARS shitcoin.

We're not talking about mom and pop shops accepting bitcoin (as great as that is) but the ability to enforce all kinds of contracts in other currencies or commodities.

Giving the middle finger to legal tender laws. Go Diana 🇦🇷!

So, who wants to move here now? 🇦🇷 😂

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Argentina:

"We confirm that in Argentina contracts can be negotiated in Bitcoin"

Yes! I sent a PR attempting to add some clarifications to NIP-10 mostly as guidance for clients who ignore "a" tags in kind 1s, including Damus.

I tagged Will and he basically said I was "pushing information destruction as a core protocol concept" lmao

At that point the e vs a came up, fiatjaf sent me a PR for the UI to warn about commenting on another version - it now looks like

I'm a bit concerned with privacy in Flare. All views are being publicly tracked. I'm talking to Zach about it, he just implemented something cool (anon mode, activated by a keyboard shortcut) but I feel that's not enough - anon should be the default

I hope this issue gets more awareness

Appreciate it!

However, the setting does not persist. If I close the page and go back I get prompted again

And still think it should be the default. It's just too privacy invasive

I know. I prefer comments not showing up at all if they are out of context

Up to Damus to support that or nip-31, especially Will who is particularly pissed with clients writing kind 1s with just an a-tag

Cool... always looking forward to you guys chatting

They do and keep getting an alert with "An error has occured" when I cancel the signing request

Anyhow these things should be opt-in, it's not great for users leaving a public trail of everything they watched by default

Agree that the context is there, the e tag is a pragmatic way of dealing with it on most clients for the time being.

It also addresses the issue of outdated comments if the publisher ever updated the replaceable event.

nostr:npub1wf4pufsucer5va8g9p0rj5dnhvfeh6d8w0g6eayaep5dhps6rsgs43dgh9 Hi, could you check PR https://github.com/fr4nzap/zapthreads/pull/34 - this would help us build 'Share on nostr' functionality for our micro-app

Hey man, I missed this message and completely forgot about the PR, sorry! Do you still need it? How else can I help?
