P2P #Bitcoin exchanges should share a single global & open order-book deeper than Coinbase, hosted on Nostr. Follow & DM me to make it happen

Some men are dangerous because they are violent, antisocial.

We are more dangerous because we are not - we are far more dangerous to the establishment because we want a better world to be built.

Thanks. But not bothering with Zaps until there’s a better non-custodial way of doing so.

To be the downer that I usually am, really hoping we have more self-custody Zap supported LN solutions before we jump up and down on how much more Zap capabilities we are adding to Nostr.

Last I tried, it’s nearly impossible to have Zap possible even if one runs a Rasp based LN node. There isn’t even a low effort solution if one runs their own VPS (which is centralized enough as its cloud based).

Basically 90%+ of LN doing Zaps are just one custodial solution to another, mostly Wallet of Satoshi.

Its not good and we don’t need more incentives for fully custodial LN adoption.

Nostr and Wallet of Satoshi amongst others needs to stop this non-sense. Take a look at Bluewallet as a role model. Have a roadmap towards shutting custodial Ligthtning down.

I am going to admit up front. I’m mostly anon LARPing. Despite Tor and not using CC and VPN and anon E-mail and all that. I highly, highly doubt someone sufficiently determined is not going to be able to doxx me if wanted.

I am not sure how Satoshi did it. Question if some people actually know who Satoshi is and just not telling. Good Bitcoin doesn’t care who Satoshi is, one way or another.

People are just being ideologues. Twitter is still a for profit company first. Keeping politically free and balance is one thing. Whether to host competitors is a business decision, not a matter of censorship.

Haters gonna hate. Just like some hate Bitcoin, others hate Elon. Hate’s all the same

How would the DAO come up with the funds to buy out Twitter from the previous public shareholders?

Not much we can do about BSA except for creating an unstoppable alternative.

Custodial centralized entities created weak points to be attacked and make the alternative less unstoppable.

Custodial solutions weakens the alternative and helps the BSA continue its existence

Not a fan of custodial solutions anyways. Its a lose-lose situation

Coded with GPT-4 and asked it to do PSBT with BDK in Rust. Its not perfect. But I ask it to fix things I see incorrect and it understood context and keep digging more into the BDK doc for solutions on its own. Mind is blown.

For example at first it called a method that didn’t exist. I told it that and it fixed it. Then I asked it I want the input amount and output amount to be different since it’s ‘partial’. It done that by just looping through UTXOs in the wallet until it reaches the desired input amount.

I asked if there’s something in the BDK that helps with coin selection. And it found the CoinSelection trait and updated the code to use ‘BranchAndBound’

I still haven’t tried to run it yet. But even if I treat this a pseudo code it’d still be amazing

Bisq and RoboSats are the only ones I’ll recommend for now.

Anyone wants to help out building a No KYC exchange L2 protocol on top of Nostr should check my site & Github.

I have said it numerous times. The way Zap was deployed might as well have been an attack on Bitcoin.

Blue wallet took their custodial solution down. Shame on #[2] to keep their’s up.

There are plenty of non-custodial LN solutions that doesn’t require running a node. There’s zero need for a custodial solution. Zaps be damned.
