My hubby is the best!

While we were dating, I knew he'd written two books, been an English teacher in Asia, and was highly intelligent and enjoyed philosophical discussions.

He mentioned knowing how to play guitar, but then sent me a video and I was blown away! He doesn't just "know how to play", he's excellent at it!!

Right now, he's putting the new alternator into our van, because not only does he know how to play guitar and write books for highly intelligent learners, he also knows how to work on cars!!

Not to mention the interpersonal training he's gone after, and knows how to clean up messes, and how to deal with emotions in a healthy way.

After how much they sounded like the American leftist Trump propaganda last time I went there, I no longer feel like it's a neutral fun place to go.

After getting stuck in a random town about halfway to our destination, waiting for a new alternator to arrive, we walked to a grocery store. On our way back, we waited to cross the road until it said go, and as we were more than halfway through the first lane, hubby a step or two in front, a car whisked by barely reaching the 2nd lane. Aka, WAY to close to us.

Then as soon as we got out of the 1st lane another car drove through that, hitting the gas what felt way too close to my leg that was in the back at the time.

I turned my head to see it and realized it was a cop who was lighting up and following the first car.

I didn't like how close behind me he was when he sped up, but I do appreciate that he caught the reckless driver who almost hit us. He was on it! 😎

When you asked if I wanted to go on an adventure with you, I was thinking more of our normal chill, everything working great but with new and beautiful scenery and such. I wasn't thinking of the Christmas adventure where we were stuck on the highway for a while because of car trouble, and wasn't sure we'd make it.

Maybe we need to be more specific in our talk of adventures next time 😅

But either way, whichever adventure it ends up being, I'm so happy to be doing them with you!! 🥰
