Their wallet is not self-custodial. They’re marketing it as such. But in my opinion they messed up with the wallet product. It should have been a separate product, but they had to integrate it into the suite.

Anybody can invest in X. Nostr is relentless in its trashing of X. Literally anybody can buy shares any company’ shares.

Is there an ipad version coming?

Yeah but then you’re sending your NSEC through a third party connection. Nostr is far from perfect yet.

Some people expect you to leave everything behind just because we like Nostr. Unrealistic and pretentious. That’s the kind of people who make nostr no that friendly.

I’m not quitting Apple Podcasts anytime soon, nor my other subscriptions, that doesn’t mean I can’t support Nostr.

I really don’t like @Damus design on ipad. @damus guys it’s not about just filling the whole screen. Items are too big, too in your face.

Pictures shouldn’t look like this, it stretches from side to side of the whole ipad screen, for most landscape pictures like this one, and portrait pictures fill the whole screen when scrolling, without even opening them, Almost like when you open a picture from your gallery in full screen. It makes the timeline looks disproportionate cause text is not that big.

I hope you can take it into consideration.

I find it funny that many people here claim to be all about:

“the revolution!!”

“legacy tech will die”

“We are the future!!”

“Screw legacy tech and all things legacy for that matter!!”

And then I see them crying about stuff like:

“I want apple to give me this for free!!”

“Why can’t Apple let me do this like this!!!”

“Why does Apple have to take a cut!!!”

It’s so interesting to read. Like, make up your mind!

You hate legacy tech but you can’t live without Apple.

You say they suck and they’re obsolete but then you cry because you want your apps on the appstore for free.

Of course not EVERYBODY is like that, but lately these profiles and replies are coming up a lot on my account.

I’m all for the revolution!! I love nostr so far. Don’t get me wrong.

But I don’t think Apple and other “legacy” companies are obsolete. If you believe that, cool. But you can’t have it both ways.

You answered your own question, it’s not about them getting a cut, if it was Primal would have been banned from doing it also. This was a technical issue. It’s easy (and some think it makes them look cool) to criticize Apple. But they have been consistent.

Also the appstore is proprietary software, they’re responsible for it and the apps on it. And I appreciate having an appstore where I don’t have to worry about malicious apps, like android.

Something strange:

I deleted Primal earlier today because the app size was getting really high (Damus is worst by the way). I often delete it and redownload it.

Only this time I forgot to logout first.

So I just downloaded Primal again from the appstore, opened the app and surprise… I’m logged in without me doing anything.

I don’t like this at all.
