There's no button. It should go in after pasting the key. Could it be some clipboard access right issue?

You could try to clear the Iris data (if you clear the cookies you need to login again):
Can you describe what's not working?
You could do a cmd/ctrl + R refresh on the browser or quit & restart the app. It usually helps with cache issues.
If it's performance issues: try to reduce the Social network (on Settings) to lesser degrees (for example, test with 2 or 3) and see whether it makes a difference.
We have changed a lot this week to make Iris more local and resilient. Some things may be broken in the process though.

It's too big for nostr.build. If it's not uploading you can try to upload it directly on nostr.build site and it gives an error or the link. If you get a link paste that to the note.
How many followers they need to have to be considered. For example, if they don't have any and you have set the limit to five they are not included.
Maximum distance is the last degree you have defined to be considered. For example, if it's four then all users on that degree need to have the minimum amount of followers you have set.
pv 🤙 Social network 🤙 Local storage 🤙 NIP05 🤙
You can adjust your feed experience by setting the following distance limit (or turn it off entirely) from Settings / Social network. Your network starts from you and who you follow and goes forward from there.
Adjust the degree to a lesser (for example, 2 or 3) if you're experiencing performance issues with your client. Refreshing the (cmd/ctrl+R) or quitting the app and opening again can help to clear the cache.

Less relay traffic and bandwidth may come your way with the latest update. Locally stored data is getting higher for this reason as some of you already have noticed.

Why use Iris username?
It makes finding your profile easier with the short link iris.to/username that can be shared outside of nostr.
username@iris.to NIP05 is a search tool. Type it in the search and your profile comes up if you have set it up. Npubs are not meant to be remembered by heart when searching users.
What happens to my other NIP05 if I take the Iris username?
Nothing. You can have many NIP05 but only as active. You can change the one you want to use in your nostr profile.
NIP05 is just a feature with Iris username. You can use it or ignore it, and just use the short link.
See the FAQ for more: https://github.com/irislib/faq#iris-username
If you've been getting "Looking up message..." lately hope they have been found now 😁

There's no central place to store your follower count like in IG, Twitter etc. It's counted from different relays and some of them may be offline or unavailable etc.
No. You can use whatever NIP you like. Iris username just makes finding you easier.
