And that's a nostr:npub1y2k6v8rzlak8g0fgnqfsjf5hgsnckjgh9ff6gnzlv9ghv2qzzsjsqf5g4z synced with a #MoneroNodo connected through a #Starlink:

Sounds as complicated (and expensive) as running a Lightning wallet.

#bch #ltc #literallyanyothercrypto

Tldr: Bitcoin (BTC) of today is nothing like the whitepaper. A few other coins, including Bitcoin Cash, function like the OG bitcoin in the white paper. Fast, Cheap & Decentralized, without the need for any second layers.

The narrative that bitcoin nodes should be run by individuals, and not by big institutions, is the exact opposite idea that Satoshi presented in the whitepaper.

Because weekends are short and because I can't get off / on chain to load / unload my Lightning wallet for less than c. $2, I've decided to pay for my beer and coffee with Bitcoin Cash & Litecoin. They have, like ZERO transaction fees, no monkey business about rebalancing channels or managing UTXO's. They both work great for day to day money.

I mean, I save in Bitcoin, but as for it being a currency, I think that ship sailed in, like, 2015. HODL BTC! (and pray you never have to buy gas with it.

Btw, no way in hell is Lightning used decentralized by more than 1% of it's users.

With Bitcoin’s price climbing, network traffic - and fees - are set to soar.

Understanding coin control and making a plan when fees are low is key to saving on transaction costs and boosting privacy. Make every sat count by keeping your transactions lean and efficient. 🧵

---

Every Bitcoin transaction is built from inputs (UTXOs), and fees are based on the transaction’s size in bytes. Transacting with many small inputs increases the bytes—and the fees.

Consolidating smaller UTXOs (under 1 million sats) into larger ones during low-fee periods is a smart move to prepare for future transactions when fees may spike.

---

This example of a UTXO consolidation transaction chose at random in the Blockstream Explorer.

There are 27 inputs in the transaction, the input values range from approximately 0.0025 BTC to 0.1537 BTC, and the final UTXO size, or the total output, is 0.24794586 BTC.

Blockstream Green’s coin control feature makes this process simple. When fees are low, you can select and send smaller UTXOs to yourself as one larger UTXO, reducing future fees and keeping your holdings organized.

The result? Lower transaction costs if network demand and fees skyrocket.

---

Beyond cost savings, coin control also boosts privacy.

By labeling UTXOs, you can track which coins are linked to KYC exchanges and which are not, helping you avoid co-mingling them when spending—key for on-chain privacy.

If you’re using a hardware wallet like the Blockstream Jade, coin control works the same way. You can organize, consolidate, and secure your UTXOs on Green or with other wallet software like Sparrow Wallet.

Whether you’re focused on lowering fees or enhancing privacy, coin control is a small effort with big rewards. Use Blockstream Green to optimize your UTXOs and make every sat count.

So sad that Bitcoiners spend more time jumping through hoops to get their expensive jalopy in driving condition when Litecoin, Monero & Bitcoin Cash are totally usable just the way they are. #PeopleAreGoingToCatchOnToThis

nostr:npub1vkgj57k30l2u7wave6t4nua75wjylx3nju6qu4vu7pneghwx8zlsf7q4uq yeah, my new npub.cash address showed up in my cashu wallet settings. Well NWC to Damus via Cashu wallet let me zap one time. Now no dice again - but I’m excited to see how it worked.

Wow! First pos.cash , then selene.cash and now npub.cash ! Amazing stuff!

In the 1970's #pornographic theaters were popular, just like #pornhub is popular today. These were not peep show arcades, they were regular movie theaters that showed porno films. People, usually men, would wear long coats and masturbate in the theater. Of course, you know all about internet porn! Well an internet cafe was a lot like those theaters, but instead of paying for a movie you just needed to buy a cup of coffee. Unlike the coffee houses that did not have internet (like old school #Starbucks ), the coffee in these places sucked because most people blew a load in less time than it took to drink coffee, so why should the shop give a shit.

When I was a teen, I worked as a "mop & sop" boy. The hourly rate sucked (no pun intended), but the tips enabled me to become a great bull shitter.

You know what doesn't have errors, is faster than lightning, and onboards newbies in seconds and was created by #Satoshi Nakamoto?
