Always with the kicking away of the fundamentals of your society. Have they not looked at the USSR maybe?

GM! Going for quantity instead of quality today? ☕

For me it all went haywire when mail clients and webmail providers started sending html mail only. I tried to render it with lynx and links but it was simply too annoying.

I've seen some really weird asus network appliances with like 8 or so antennas but this is absolutely next level.

Unfortunately this situation pops up everywhere jn the west more and more. I am against "unfair" (definition needed) wealth gathering where you actually get into a position where you can in some way negatively impact other people's opportunities to pull themselves up.

However just trying to take people's legally earned money by force is mostly going to drive these people out of your country with their money and it will end up with everybody being poor where we should strive for everybody being rich instead, or at least create as many opportunities for them as possible. Everybody wants a hard worker to earn their fair share, but nobody wants people to freeload on a welfare state without contributions.

In The Netherlands they try to smartly introduce an exit tax prior to also introducing a wealth tax where you have to pay 5 additional years of taxes after leaving the country. Starting to feel a lot like a prison to me.

I can vouch for carnivore. Been doing it loosely for more than a year without being extremely strict and i already started to look a lot more shredded around December.

I recently came out of my 3 month strict diet and decided i will stick to it mostly, but consume small quantities of plant matter throughout the week for hormetic benefits (where you mildly stress your body with low amounts of phytotoxins).

I have not missed plants at all but i'm maybe not that picky of an eater.

It also saves me all the hassle of calorie counting, though i must say i don't really drink more than a handful of beers per year for the greater part of 2 decades now. Drinks are definitely the worst of the worst when jt comes to getting empty calories. Even eating pure sugar will give you a more satiated feeling than drinking it.

I think "doing something for the greater good" is a very noble act. I myself get a great feeling of reward from helping someone out with whatever it is they're trying to do. I feel closest to the people that have helped me throughout my life, either voluntarily or because i asked.

Where things go haywire is the point where people start demanding this from others. The worst case of this is when this is done by law. People get upset that the fruit of their hard labor is being given to people that are in an opposite position. It's never about them not wanting to help people that are maybe in a slightly worse position, but always being forced to help when maybe they don't want to. This creates enormous amounts of friction and makes everybody lazy because nobody wants to work just so that others may profit from it.

Helping is great, being forced to help does not help anybody in the end.

I'll reconsider this once i can simply sign a login event instead of jamming my nsec in there at this stage of development.

My days as a Cashu wallet dev ended a few months back. I worked on the nostr:nprofile1qy2hwumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnyv9kh2uewd9hj7qpqdx5q2el8nd4eh3eg9t2e25fd7zuqg7zxz6ldkc3uzgh66ss2yc6srrrly6 wallet with nostr:nprofile1qythwumn8ghj7dpww4czuunpd9k8wcte9eshqup0qyv8wumn8ghj7ct59ehx7um5wfmk7untwvhxxmmd9uqzpt6trnwxyjsmare3l0m8qtgdsu6pppnlje6h24spmz7par8msn8ecvpx25 and learned a ton from him, not just about coding. The project is now publicly archived on GitHub, as it’s no longer maintained. I’m grateful for the support and feedback from the community.

Lately, I’ve been experimenting with 3D game development, and I wanted to share that my content will shift to updates on that. Who knows, maybe I’ll integrate Cashu and Lightning payments into a game someday.

This is my first 3D experiment. It runs in the browser. I've created a simple multiplayer room with no teams. Players can drop in with their own ball and experiment freely as part of a test project. I'm still exploring ideas and unsure about the final direction.

The code is private and there is no public demo yet.

This looks a lot like rocket league. I'm sure you just used some of their assets but you should be careful about lawsuits.
