Obtainium indeed. Love it.
I wonder how custodial apps will deal with this like Wallet of Satoshi. Will they release an apk?
Very interesting!
Thank you for replying. Didn't know the amount of fiat donations is pretty significant.
We've added support for Bitcoin donations to the non-profit GrapheneOS Foundation via a BIP47 payment code and PayNym due to high demand:

We'll need to regularly sweep these to a fresh address from our hardware wallet since we can't yet use it directly.
Why to keep on using PayPal? Maybe the next time all funds will be seized permanently.
Boggles my mind how so many people can fall for such a blatant scam.

I think with high probability most of the people invested in Hex do not know about (hard/soft)moneyy and how you should not trust your live savings to one person.
nostr:npub1s05p3ha7en49dv8429tkk07nnfa9pcwczkf5x5qrdraqshxdje9sq6eyhe Blockchain's Trilemma applied to these scams shows the actual restrictions they have and not what they're supposedly can do. You can only choose 2 of the 3 options of the triangle. These are the limitations of a blockchain and therefore any altcoin.

That would indeed help people using a nostr client for the first time. It would help myself also.
To discover content based on tags could perhaps discover content from another angle.
I love the diagrams to explain open protocols vs closed protocols. Thank you for sharing.
That's a very interesting perspective that I never considered. I use my phone to look up info when i'm on the go or call someone.
A mobile is great for onboarding people to Bitcoin and Lightning.
They're taking "don't trust, verify" to a another level by verifying identity instead of information.
The term cryptocurrency is probably not accurate when currency = fiat.
Cryptomoney and cryptocommodity would only apply to Bitcoin.
CryptoIOUs would perhaps be a better suited name for cryptocurrencies.
Wow, those are some insights in your face. Would it be different if there was very limited or no money printing?
It's a feature, not a bug ;-)
“In between come all the hundreds of little steps, some of them imperceptible, each of them preparing you not to be shocked by the next. Step C is not so much worse than Step B, and, if you did not make a stand at Step B, why should you at Step C? And so on to Step D.”

Is it a reliable and trustworthy company? They could give all information to a government if they were forced to. Or is it protected somehow?
Here's a talk from nostr:npub1rxysxnjkhrmqd3ey73dp9n5y5yvyzcs64acc9g0k2epcpwwyya4spvhnp8 about the HonkHonk Story with some great learnings:

Summer vacations are also the perfect time to catch up on some books.
Buy or pirate your books from libgenesis and manage them with calibre-web!
If you have a kobo it can even sync to it!
Great tip, thanks. Going to try that with nix.
Concentrate your time, energy, and attention on the alternatives represented by #bitcoin and #nostr. Become as resilient as you can. Ignore the noise.
