Confession: I haven’t been on X for 5 days. The detox has been nice but I’m at the point where I’m wondering why I post on social media at all? This thought includes nostr.

I think i had a facebook account around 2012-2015. I was pressured into it by friends but never really did much with it so i deleted it 4-5 years ago because apparently i still had people trying to contact me through facebook.

Never used nor visited twitter (except when a tweet was linked by others).

Then there's linkedin. As much as i hate it, professionally it is the place from which 80% of my work comes. Companies seem to find me on it much easier than anywhere else. Any tips on how to do this different are welcome.

Still on twitter, I find it extremely difficult to leave since there are a lot of accounts I get value from that aren't still on nostr 😞

Curious fact... About the last couple hours of #nostriga, my phone started to receive weird notifications in Russian. I didn't open them, but swept them off. I don't know Russian but it is close to my language and I recognized words like hacked. It was multiple notifications all at once.

That happened after my phone had been plugged into charge by the really nice videographer upfront to his square, filming at #nostriga.

My immediate thought was this is attempt to get hacked. I ran my anti virus software and nothing was detected.

Any thoughts by the hackers and the knowledgeable folks out there?

Well my phone broke last night so Im web only until this new phone syncs, but usually saving images from the web is easy. I'm left curve, but not that far left. Ill try on mobile later. The artist sent me the images separately so I have them regardless, but its a weird thing.

Can anyone tell me how to save an image that's been posted to Nostr? When I right click to save image, I just get a data/media cache. I'd rather not to screen capture.
