It took me 45 years to really accept that nobody is perfect; to stop writing off smart people because they act stupid on one topic.
Not sure if I should be embarrassed that it took so long or just pleased that I got there at all.
Far too many people focus on what divides us when it is much more productive to focus on what unites us.
There is so much propaganda and misinformation out there that everyone without exception believes something false.
I am not sure protests are the solution because they are easily hijacked and made to deliver oppression instead of freedom.
The best way to fight evil is to make energetic progress in something good - which in this case would be to just ignore the bad laws. If people just refused to comply with lockdowns there would be nothing to protest about.
It all comes down to information access, the war is on for our minds. Which is why Assange is in prison.
I have never been a BTC enthusiast. For some 5 years now I have supported alternatives because of privacy issues (and may be, on a more emotional level, because I like underdogs). nostr:npub1klkk3vrzme455yh9rl2jshq7rc8dpegj3ndf82c3ks2sk40dxt7qulx3vt is starting to change my mind

I read somewhere that at the end of their lives, people's biggest regrets are the risks they didn't take. Stuck in my head for some reason.
I use primarily LBRY and love it.
In my experience Linux ALWAYS runs better than Windows :D
Yet again, nobody is perfect :/
Overall he still makes more sense than any of the other candidates though.
The same people who tell you Russia is the ultimate enemy produced the propaganda-bolstering legislation this podcast is about:

To accept the persecution of Julian Assange is to accept the idea that all media everywhere must function as propaganda organs of the US government.

The facts below will likely be a surprise to most:
Not sure if telepathy will ever be proven real but do believe that humans can do a lot more than they currently are - without crude technology interventions like implants or gene modifications.
Humanity is in it's early teenage years now it seems... thinks it is all powerful and grown up but acts self-destructively. That will change in time if we don't nuke ourselves out of existence.
What might be more useful is a 'discover similar accounts' option? Yes still algorithmic but leaves the control with the user. I find similarweb to be a useful tool for internet research.
In a recent episode Joe Rogan had Tulsy Gabbard, talked about the Lahaina fire among other things. Apparently govt offered a one time help of $700 to people who lost their homes. Completely rebuilding every house lost in those fires would take some 5 billion, which is less than the money 'accidentally' sent to Ukraine. Literally money they say they sent due to miscalculations.
