Swiss Army. You can turn a short conversation about a knife into “look at all the tools and what it can do.” Your heart will swell the first time you see him pull it out to turn a screw or saw a branch. Not the best knife, but the best tool for a beginner.
Well with whole house charcoal filter for general use. Berkey for drinking water. R/O for the aquaponics.
Nope, I already made two orders also, then remembered I forgot one thing. Now I have a cart full of seeds again. By the way, it’s also time to order fruit trees. 😈
Good morning nostr, its monday again, and i feel ready for the day. Just wish it werent so frigid outside. 24 is just not fit for humans, and it'll be colder tomorrow night, along with some snow and possibly ice. Not worried about it, except its possible that our pipes might freeze. At the cabin, we turned off the water supply and drained the pipes, which are totally exposed to weather. Anyway, i'm ready for this cold snap to pass. My husband is outside watching the chicken run, with a rifle. The bobcat seems to be onto the automatic door opening in the coop, and snatches a chicken as soon as it opens. And Buster the cat is looking at me through the window right now, wanting inside. Yall have a great monday, enjoy your coffee, and do your work with a happy heart. #coffeechain #grownostr #homesteading https://cdn.nostrcheck.me/8d9d2b77930ee54ec3e46faf774ddd041dbb4e4aa35ad47c025884a286dd65fa/c3e55a349c3cada988e51924c7d852f864772c50090868c09fa0eb5448098f03.webp
GM!
GM Robin, it’s a chilly 9°F here in East Tennessee.
Ham radios are the best for picking up NOAA broadcasts and a great prep even if you don’t have any interest in getting a license. I have a Yaesu 300D that I got from https://radiomadeeasy.com/
He has great packages that put together a radio/battery/atenna and carrying case for the novice so you don’t have to guess. A 5 minute phone call and he’ll tell you what you need without overselling to you. He’ll even program the radio for you.
They also have great training courses.
No one needs a license to broadcast during emergency situations.

GM Robin. This year I’m going to try direct sowing everything. I’ve been collecting clear plastic bottles from friends and neighbors that drink soda and whatever. Cut the end off the bottle and put it over the seed. Single plant greenhouse!
Looking good Lyn. I still don’t believe you have two ears. Preston is very handsome tonight as well. What was the occasion?
Redheads have less hair per square inch but thicker hairs. Blondes have more hairs per square inch but thinner hairs. Red hairs are generally.025” in thickness. Blonde is around .0125” in thickness. “C**t” hairs are generally 1.25 to 1.5 times the thickness of head hair. Giving a relative measurement of +/- .050 inches respectively. Old man machinists math explained.
Yes! “A red cunt hair or a blonde cunt hair?”
