Sorry, I didn’t see this question until just now! The extractions are done on the same sample, ethanol first followed by water. People do it both ways, but I think it’s better to do the ethanol first. Water can potentially oxidize and degrade some of the ethanol soluble compounds if you use water first.
Could any knowledgeable people offer me some professional opinions on this SeedHammer engraver? Seems awesome, but then you are using one piece of equipment to engrave all seed phrases in a multisig, which leads to one vulnerability point if there is any hidden way for it to store information without you realizing it.

These are truffles and they are actually an entirely different species, P. tampanensis. P. cubensis will never produce truffles no matter how you grow them. Sometimes people grow mutant blobs from strains like Penis Envy and think they are truffles, but those are just mutant mushrooms.
The mycelium does have plenty of good stuff it, but you would only want to use mycelium grown on brown rice flower or something similar. Many lions mane supplements are made from myceliated brown rice. But you wouldn’t want to use a big sawdust substrate for that.

My stepdad was a pulmonologist and told me the filters make it worse. Makes sense, they only allow the smaller particles through, which penetrate deeper into your lung tissue. The filters are also synthetic and the filter fibers can penetrate lung tissue as well. I’m not a cigarette smoker but from the cigarettes I have smoked in my life with and without filters, I could definitely see filtered cigarettes being worse. The tar that they are filtering out could actually be less harmful to inhale than inhaling finely filtered smoke, especially because filtered cigarettes allow you to take bigger, deeper hits.

Yes I do have a miner for heating, but it hasn’t been on much lately. The freeze dryers and other equipment I have in there generate a lot of heat when they are operating, and now the weather is warming up quite a bit.
