Who needs the WEF when freedom devs are building IRS reportage and Vaxx Passports into the stack.
Tame compared with the passtime of certain Labour cabinet ministers.
Glenn Greenwald's 'System Update' is fearless journalism. Including dispatches from Gaza...
I have the same boxes. Cost a couple of bucks each.
Sure. People want convenience - until they get rugged. And then they wish that they had a time machine and made a different choice.
I've lived and worked in a lot of small communities. Exit scams lead to generational savings being wiped out; broken families; suicides etc. I'm currently typing this from an isolated community of a few thousand people. Ecash would be an unmitigated disaster, and is accordingly being treating as threat.
An operating system isn't necessary for a modem module to address a peripheral.

Really interesting analysis that has been overlooked. tl;dr: someone carefully looked through corporate records, and found that hundreds of billions of dollars of sketchy loans have been given to Russian defense contractors that probably can't pay them back. These aren't voluntary loans: the Russian government passed a law in 2022 forcing banks to loan money at low rates to defense contractors.

Previously it's been generally thought that about 15% of Russia's true GDP is being spent on the invasion. Taking forced loans into account, it's quite possible the real number is double that.
Yet more evidence that "ordinary Russians" are ultimately responsible for the invasion. You simply can't have this much % of GDP involved in a war without every working Russian making a significant contribution.
Western countries donating weapons to Ukraine should allow them to be used on any military or economic target in Ukraine. Destruction of the Russian electricity grid would be a good priority along with oil and gas.
Just another puff piece to try to prolong the slaughter of young Slavs. China and India will continue to buy and pre-buy an amount of energy and energy futures at the right price, so Russia is more than capable of mitigating any systemic risk in its financial services sector.
The fact that Mayor of Vancouver formally declared the city as 'Bitcoin Friendly' via a council motion also helps a lot.
Why is nostr:nprofile1qyt8wumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnrda5kummn9e5k7tcqyzagpxgxvmhskm6t55zex3a7kyey9ys723nfu6qqvn9825jk5836v8xsdxk in business but so many wallets shut down or fled? I'm just curious why their business model isn't scrutinized or apparently under threat? #asknostr
The basis of Canadian law is that you can legally trade anything for anything (there are obvious exceptions). I guees international Private Law would apply for cross border transactions, and that's way behind the curve.
Pierre Poilievre is a massive bitcoin maxi and he'll almost certainly be next primeminster.
Don't trust verify etc etc... but from my own perspective, some of my close friends from the antivax protest days have had an opportunity to meet the CoinOS team and shared some good vibes. Everyone building freedom tech is necessarily horizon scanning all the time. CoinOS is 100% cypherpunk imho.
Entirely false dichotomy.
There's Phoenix, CoinOs, Breeze, Zeus, Alby... Umbrella, Start9... literally dozens of sovereign lightning options with unilateral exit, without the risk of getting rugged by an ecash mint.
Ecash shilling is honestly starting to make me nausious.
