Sleepy 🫂😴 goodnight

I believe in something like god partly because of this memory one summer where I was sitting in my horrible babysitters garden eating Shepard’s pie with my big brother. I didn’t like Shepards pie but he didn’t seem to mind. I also barely used to eat at that age.

I looked up at the sun close to tears and prayed to god to get rid of my shepards pie. When I looked down it was gone. I know in my heart that my big brother had eaten my food like he always did - though I hear god works in mysterious ways. After that I felt there must be something 🫂. Kind of embarrassed to admit I’m still looking for something concrete to believe in. I know that there’s something bigger than us, I just haven’t found it yet. I don’t really like to talk about it cos it makes me feel sad, but it’s not so hard to share on here.

But more importantly, Shepherd's pie is boring and the food of sadness 🥹 vegetarian lasagne for the win

That makes me think it is just a network effect then, which totally makes sense. Maybe algorithms weren't all they were cracked up to be. Could be that good old human connection is the answer after all. Actual "social" media.

I don't know if it's just a network effect of being here for longer or what, but Nostr seems to be getting more active. It could just be network building over time. Not sure. But it used to feel dead when I first started and now it feels more lively than Twitter ever did for me (after years of use).

From where I sit you have weighted the scales in a negative way.

There are few, if any completely absolute principles. People often say, “absolute power corrupts absolutely.” There have been several instances where this is not the case, e.g., Marcus Aurelius.

There will undoubtedly be factions fighting for favor, control, whatever. But effectively what will the result be?

We are living in a time of power back to the people. The ruling class and their handlers can faction all they want, a rebirth of sovereignty is coming. What opposes it will fall, whether it is united or split into factions.

After this rebirth we will again enter a time where these factions gain more and more power and eventually take control over the people again. But first, an era of liberty.

This is a guarantee. Why? Because it has already happened. It has already happened in the hearts and minds of the people. Once a critical mass has been reached, it’s when not if.

Ibuprofen is what is keeping me mobile, but am definitely hitting that ice pack too
