LOL yeah knock off Bitcoin is clearly big business, theres wBTC, cbBTC and now kBTC oh and tBTC and they hold over 100 000 BTC in these products, if they fully backed we don't know but this also can lead to double spending

Lol at least Liquid has confidential transactions but yeah if you can't even stomach L-BTC and sidechains then this would not be for you

Doubt it, they're too busy building their own local stablecoin forex system using blockchain, bleh, news has also gone quiet on their gold backed notes they wanted to launch too

So if controlled methods like that are having so many issues, something like Bitcoin isn't likley to pass, but at least citizens can stack and not tie themselves to the failure of those fiat currencies

Breaking news! Free money encourages people to work less, and produce less

I am shocked 🀯

But clearly this is not real #UBI and we need to keep trying until we get it right

#Kraken has launched its own wrapped bitcoin (BTC) token, kBTC, how many of these Bitcoin wrappers are going to misdirect people to buying non-sense and gamble on shoddy rugpull #DEFI smart contracts on other chains come the next bull run?

https://www.coindesk.com/business/2024/10/17/crypto-exchange-kraken-launches-wrapped-bitcoin-token-kbtc/

they are separate blockchains with a peg in system and their own tokens, setup during the ordinals craze

Lol keeps things interesting, like reading the back of the shampoo bottle because you don't have your phone with you, I now know a lot more about shampoo

I hope I get the credit for throwing these ideas out there lol even if I wasn't the first to think of it, let me the the loudest

I had drinks with a friend over the weekend and she was telling me how she's keen to move jobs, but her vesting period is coming to an end this year and she can access the stock compensation from the publicly listed company she works for, but it's only grown 8.6% over the 3 years since

But it got me thinking what if companies who wanted to retain talent put BTC into a timelock, you can see it on chain, you can verify its there and when you reach it you sign the multi-sig to get the funds

Thoughts?

When you successfully made it to the bathroom after your morning coffee kicked in but you left your phone at your desk, so you gotta dry dookie this one

GM to all of you!
