well, if this isn’t just dumb performance art, then at least she’s starting to get it. Next step, she’ll learn about how money works. Then she’s really gonna sh!+ the bed.

That’s like asking a laser eyes to stop calling all their acquaintances on Nostr, “fren”.

P.S. I refused both times, and was persona non grata after each time. Couldn’t fire me, but definitely no promotions in my future.

Ah, I see you haven’t been to or forgot the lessons of MBA school. Most acquisitions of big businesses SUBTRACT value from the combined organizations, 67% of the time I’ve been told. A widely studied fact.

So why would a big business ever attempt such prone-to-failure actions over and over again you ask yourself after MBA school. And the reality became clear to me after working for a large corporation that did exactly these things: it’s a fancy form of money laundering. Not the illegal kind, the grab-more-money-from-dopes-in-gov’t kind.

You see, first the acquisition happens, and big biz takes a small stock price hit for 3-6mths and CEO has to talk up how good it will be long-term. Annual SEC filings show big biz made more money this past year (aka - put all of profitable biz’s profits on the neg. profits of big biz so net positive). A few years go by, and look at that, more power given by gov’t to bigger biz to do more stuff (by way of money printing and inflation and bonds) all while hemorrhaging more cash. But, CEO and top execs kept getting bonuses and prepping for their next “profitable” acquisition (read: stealing littler guy’s profits), rinse, repeat. Let the worker bees figure out how to manipulate “the numbers.”

And no, that’s not being cynical, that’s what I’ve been asked to do as a worker bee on at least two occasions.

I only faintly comprehend a few words, but I surmise she is not down with being propositioned to clean dude’s dishes, make dinner, and serve queso and chips during futbol. Hilarious!

We haven’t massive pump to $160k yet. When that happens, and then we drop back to $70k, recovering to $160k will feel more real. I blame ETFs, but they can’t manipulate price forever, especially at the current pace. Just wait till they get rekt on being found to actually be trading fiat paper BTC even tho their charters say otherwise.

Well, I’ve been pointing out propaganda as low level as CheezIt commercials during football games to my kids. Yeah, it works. They’re massively skeptical of media messages.

Especially considering iris scan is now complete. OPSEC blown.

Hey all you crazy plebs, do any of you have recommendations on complete AI crackpots? You know, the kind of people who mainstream media hates and who have been de-platformed and who generally have pretty solid logic about where AI has been, is today, and truths about its limitations as a technology?

Interesting thought. Wifey and I have been discussing this in relation to a variety of aspects of both church and homeschooling communities we’re involved in. Yes, we have close friends from both groups who aren’t this way, but there are too many people who still ARE, despite 4yrs of utter insanity around the world. They just refuse to take a stand! (and for those who are already grandparents… yikes! the results of all their adult lives lived this way is sometimes truly horrific in what’s happened in their progeny’s lives)

My servers rarely keep things private no matter how often I switch them. The damn cook always messes up my order for discreteness!

“porn”: an abbreviated form of the word “pornography”, which is defined as “wicked writing”. It is my understanding that prior to the advent of nearly free cost (as in beer) of publishing of both written and photographed works, pornography covered any kind of written or lithographed printed work which advocated illicit, wicked writing. Therefore, child porn is not simply evidence; it’s wicked speech in printed form. It shares in the wickedness of lying about COVID vaccine effectiveness to increase one’s profits on the backs of the dead who take your vaccine, along with a variety of other speech which results in wickedness being perpetrated on others in order to produce and disseminate more wicked speech. Therefore, I contend it is not wise to attempt to protect any speech whatsoever without any discernment being used just to protect the supposed ideal of “free speech”.

So is child porn free speech? Because if so, wow, do you have a tough position to defend; as in, you’re going to end up losing the war to win a pedantic battle that only ends up making you look bad.

There is no such thing as “free speech”. There is a Constitutional amendment that the US government shall not make a law restricting free speech, but some Libertarian types have taken that dictate to RESTRICT THE GOV’T and turned it into an all-powerful god. Stop worshipping dumb maxims.

☺️ There’s a little coffee shop where two people walk up to the counter.

“Five coffees, please. Two for us, and three hanging.”

They pay, take their two coffees, and leave.

Curious, I ask the barista, “What’s a hanging coffee?”

“Just wait, and you’ll see,” they respond with a smile.

A little while later, two girls come in. They each order a coffee, pay, and go on their way. Then, three women order seven coffees: three for themselves and four hanging.

My curiosity deepens. What’s with all these “hanging” coffees?

Then, a man in worn clothes, who looks like he’s fallen on hard times, approaches the counter and asks, “Do you have a hanging coffee?”

“Yes, we do, sir,” the barista replies, handing him a hot cup of coffee.

I finally understood. People are paying in advance for coffees that will be served to anyone who can’t afford one.

This heartwarming tradition began in Naples, but it’s now spreading to cities and towns across the world. In some places, it’s not just hanging coffees—you can leave sandwiches or even a full meal for someone in need.

Imagine if we all embraced this simple act of kindness in our own communities. A small gesture like this could make a world of difference to someone’s day, or even their life.

Let’s start bringing this tradition to every city and town. One small act of generosity could ripple out and touch countless lives in ways we can’t even imagine. #Nostr #Bitcoin #coffeechain #kindness 🧡💜

On the one hand, that’s laudable; on the other hand, that’s fiat for you: those who have dole out just a little extra for those that have nothing and do no work to earn anything of that which they’re partaking. At least Ruth worked hard before Boaz noticed her, instructed his workers to leave extra for her, and then eventually paid all her debts and married her.

I appreciate your interest in the night sky. But why do I have such an aversion to all the people being impressed who “saw the aurora!” with their phone camera but not the eye?? Something about it seems so very normie and annoying to me. Anyone else have this kind of gut feeling about it?
