Not many. Harriet is an only child but she remains on good terms with her parents, who are both still alive. She still sees them regularly but deeply dislikes having her photo taken. Most of her pictures at home are of her parents or her dog, Ozzie.

Harriet is a bit older than I am and seeing as my WIP takes place in our world (or an alternate version), there aren’t many differences between my world and this. But Harriet wasn’t as happy as a child as she is now. She’s much happier as a adult, living life her way.

I am kinda having the same experience, since I disclosed my assessment to a family member. Without the "everyone is diagnosed" part or raising any doubts, just being passive and not interested at all. It is confusing, but I assume it may be a common thing with late identified autists. So thanks for sharing, letting you know that you are not the only one. As for the "why?!", it is totally normal. And the point is simply that you wanna know who you are. Good luck!

I respect Shawshank as a film - performances, scripting, direction, cinematography, etc are all first class but it just doesn’t move me the way it seems to for others. One film that does is It’s A Wonderful Life which gets me every time. For whatever reason, Shawshank just doesn’t. Put it down to personal taste. 🤷🏻♂️

Mind you, no wings and it defaulted (or course) to caucian, but it is something.
It is missing the sense of the character being fae, vulnerable, and mysterious. These are things I'm sure my cover artist would make happen.
