"The Empty Man" is a true hidden gem.
The fact that "The Empty Man" was made at all amazes me. Even more astonishing: the film is just as faithful to its ideas as it is to its dark and gloomy visual language. It shines with sequences that are inspired, frightening and formally daring.
In his book ‘Dream Images and Symbols’, Kevin Tadashi gives the following advice on developing the ability to interpret dreams:
1. write down your dream as soon as you wake up. Even if you only have the feeling of a good night's sleep, write it down. Let your subconscious know that you are serious.
2 Recognise that your feeling about the dream is just as important as any possible interpretation. What is your emotional reaction to the dream, to other characters in the dream or to the actions taking place? Also note the actions, feelings, emotions and conversations of each character in your dream.
3. remember that each character in a dream usually represents a part of yourself. Other people may reflect aspects of your own personality, desires and fears, even if it is a real person you know. In general, the dream figure represents an aspect of yourself in relation to that person.
4. look for recurring symbols, characters and emotions in your dreams and start a personal dream dictionary. Make a note of these symbols and their meaning for you. By observing what is going on in your life and then looking at a particular dream, you will get an idea of what individual symbols might mean to you, especially if the symbol reappears in later dreams. If the symbol had a voice, what would it say to you? The symbol does not have to mean the same thing to other people, because personal symbols are as individual as the dreamer themselves. For example, dreaming of teeth falling out may symbolise gossip for some people, but someone who has just got new dentures might have a completely different interpretation.
5. practise, practise, practise. After you've recorded your dreams, make it a habit to explore them a few weeks later. Look for themes, situations, emotions and symbols that repeat themselves. One person discovered that her cat, whom she loved very much, frequently appeared in dreams that dealt with personal relationships. Another person found that a clock was a recurring symbol in precognitive dreams about their personal future.

By running my own node, I help make the game:
More decentralized.
More secure.
More private (self-sufficient).
More efficient.
I don’t trust, I verify, hence more integrity.
More of the people, by the people.

Man is an imperfect creation. He is not a truly unique cosmic being whose intelligence and ability to act reflect the energies of the source of life itself. On the contrary, man as we know him is more like an automaton.
His thoughts, feelings and actions are little more than mechanical reactions to external and internal stimuli. In him and around him, everything happens without the participation of his own authentic consciousness.
But man is unaware of this fact because the omnipresent influence of culture and education imbues him with the illusion of an autonomous conscious self.
Modern man has no idea how self-deceptive a life lived in only one part of himself can be. The head, the emotions and the body each have their own perceptions and actions, and each can live a simulacrum of human life.
In short, man is asleep. There is no authentic ‘I am’ in his presence, only an egoism that masquerades as the authentic self and whose machinations poorly mimic the normal human functions of thinking, feeling and willing.
Many factors reinforce this sleep. Each of the reactions that take place in one's own presence is accompanied by a deceptive sense of self - the human being is many selves, each of which imagines itself to be the whole and each of which is buffered from the perception of the others.
Each of these many ‘I's represents a process by which the subtle energy of consciousness is absorbed and dissipated, a process Gurdjieff called “identification”. Man identifies himself - that is, he wastes his conscious energy - with every passing thought, impulse and sensation.
This state manifests itself in a constant self-deception and an uninterrupted succession of egoistic emotions such as anger, self-pity, sentimentality and fear, which are so painful that man constantly tries to alleviate this state by the endless pursuit of social recognition, sensual pleasure or the vague and unattainable goal of ‘happiness’.

One of my favourite cards in the #tarot is the two of cups which represents harmony, sharing, kindness, and compassion. I also can't help but also see two Nostriches zapping each other now as well ^^ ✨

One of my favorite cards comes from the Keymaster Tarot and is called "The Judgment''. I could probably write a lot about why, but I'll just let it work.👁️🗨️

I took your advice and built a gif nostr companion app:
You can download the PWA to your home screen, search for your gif, copy the address and paste it into your client
On the back end, for every gif that gets copied/clicked, an API request is made to upload to nostr:npub1nxy4qpqnld6kmpphjykvx2lqwvxmuxluddwjamm4nc29ds3elyzsm5avr7 by nostr:npub137c5pd8gmhhe0njtsgwjgunc5xjr2vmzvglkgqs5sjeh972gqqxqjak37w
From there a nip94 request is done so that the content can be accessed by any client in the future
Now, anyone who searches for gifs using this tool is also helping to build the gif repository for nip94 and adding fallback urls to nostr.build
And all they did was click to copy #gifs

Nostr and the nostrich: A Jungian analysis of digital emancipation
In the collective unconscious of the digital world, the nostrich represents the archetype of the freedom seeker and independent person. It embodies the deep, archetypal longing for unrestricted self-expression and connectedness that is free from external control and censorship.
Like the ostrich from which it derives its name, the nostrich has both feet firmly on the ground of decentralised reality. But unlike the ostrich, which literally buries its head in the sand, the nostrich proudly raises its head to the heights of digital freedom. Its purple colouring symbolises the transformation of the ordinary Internet into something royal and sublime.
The nostrich carries within it the tension between the shadow of centralisation and the light of decentralisation. It has shed the persona of conventional social media and strives for individuation in the realm of uncensored communication. In doing so, he integrates the anima/animus of technological innovation with the self of personal sovereignty.
In the hero's journey, the nostrich represents the moment of rejection of the familiar call and the conscious decision to cross the threshold into a new, unknown world. He is the mentor and at the same time the hero who accompanies others on their path to digital emancipation.
The encounter with the nostrich archetype challenges the individual to confront their own shadows of dependency and conformity. He calls for the mask of the censored persona to be removed and the authentic self to be revealed in a space of absolute freedom.
The nostrich also embodies the trickster archetype, challenging the established structures of centralised power through creativity and unpredictability. He dances on the border between the orderly world of regulated communication and the chaos of unbridled expression of opinion.

‘The Nostrich’ symbolises freedom, decentralisation and the power of open communication. The ostrich, known for not being able to fly, takes on a new, magical quality here thanks to its special colouring - similar to how Nostr opens up new possibilities for the Internet.
This card stands for the courage to break new ground and break away from centralised structures. It represents the ability to forge connections across traditional boundaries and build a community based on freedom and self-determination.
In a positive sense, it suggests a spirit of innovation, independence and the ability to share and receive information freely. In a negative sense, it could warn against excessive idealism or the danger of isolating oneself too much from established systems.
‘The Nostrich’ encourages the questioner to explore the possibilities of free, decentralised communication and to play an active role in shaping a more open digital future.
