That hurts... I can't say I have never done that before...
I have been working a full time job in fiat world. However, I have been laying the foundation to teach shop skills on Youtube and will be going back to woodworking. Been gone for 15 years or so.
Just need to finish my shop building.
The things holding me back at the moment are the lack of people that have done this. Everyone in my sphere is firmly in job world. So, my plans are foreign to them. So, I seek examples from social media.
The problem areas are right now my video experience. Editing and such. But, I am trying to take the honey badger approach... I don't care, just improve 1% each time.
My wife and I have identified that something needs to change, The life our parents lead has broken down to a point that it is not working for us.

It still comes out medium rare (137.5 F) Longer may make it more tender. But it is still good.
We use it for over 8 hours on grass fed chuck roast (2 lbs. or so) then sear. Almost a good roast beef. Still working on it. Maybe needs more time.
I am hoping its somewhere... far away... and not seen...
Think about what it is doing to a former finish carpenter! It.... hurts!

Our modern built houses are probably good for only 20-30 years before major renovation and repairs have to be done.
This is what our decaying system is producing as housing.
*NOTE - the problem in the picture is that the roof ridge is not lined up. Will be very noticeable when roofed over and means that there will be other problems with the framing.
