Itโ€™s not about the bike #Start9 #pow use your own node and be sceptical of people who donโ€™t Itโ€™s about the balance for everything also that can be a bit boring sometimes. Earth flattener!

This was epic nostr:npub1s5yq6wadwrxde4lhfs56gn64hwzuhnfa6r9mj476r5s4hkunzgzqrs6q7z

Thanks for having me on the show and letting me show the world how all of us can earn KYC free sats while showering ๐Ÿ˜‰ https://fountain.fm/episode/gYlgyNuYudVw9KU1qFuG

it was a very good podcast just a question about mining pools, I saw you have posted on x some feedback about Ocean and I see a lot of resentment regarding their "censoring" what's your take on this ?

Does this path have a heart? If it does, the path is good; if it doesn't, it is of no use. One makes for a joyful journey. The other will make you curse your life. One makes you strong; the other weakens you.

Iโ€™m just now reading some of your other posts, eg where you say:

โ€œMy entire argument is that I'd like a clearer description of the thing that was implemented, so that I know if my own implementation counts as the same thing or a new thing.โ€

This is a reasonable and understandable thing to want. But itโ€™s worth asking: who decides โ€” especially if thereโ€™s a controversy? Whoโ€™s in charge? Fiatjaf, I suppose. But is that how we want it to be? Someone who makes decisions that we are all obliged to follow?

So this is where Iโ€™d point out some of the tradeoffs between a centralized vs a decentralized set of communication tools. Decentralized tools must necessarily be highly tolerant of ambiguity. We see this in human language. They must be flexible bc thereโ€™s no one in charge to enforce specs, definitions, etc on everyone else in case of controversy.

Why can a misplaced comma โ€œbreakโ€ an entire app? Bc centralized languages are not designed to tolerate deviation from The Rules. Human language, on the other hand, is designed to be robust: conversation doesnโ€™t come to a screeching halt just bc conversants disagree on some minor (or even major) detail regarding definitions, grammatical rules, etc.

We need to learn how to make digital tools truly decentralized: flexible, robust, and tolerant of ambiguity, just like the spoken word. Nostr is the closest Iโ€™ve seen but weโ€™re still VERY far from it.

great thread, in order to achieve this a mindset is needed which is going to be a mission on itself.

we have been conditioned to think centralised and to change this mindset it will take time and patience just my 2 cents even I am not a devloper per se

getting now zaps direct on your node via nostr:npub1xnf02f60r9v0e5kty33a404dm79zr7z2eepyrk5gsq3m7pwvsz2sazlpr5 is pretty cool with your customized but it's still a hefty charge

und die Alternstive heiรŸt: ๐Ÿฅ Nostr!

the amount of rain we had in 2024 I mean that's very bullish

still gotta walk the dog, whilst listening to nostr:npub1s5yq6wadwrxde4lhfs56gn64hwzuhnfa6r9mj476r5s4hkunzgzqrs6q7z via https://fountain.fm/episode/NN3CXk2MT6ejjcsMIrbQ

Absolutely. I praise nostr:npub16c0nh3dnadzqpm76uctf5hqhe2lny344zsmpm6feee9p5rdxaa9q586nvr for this effort. This brings Zaps to all. It's huge and I love it. I just want people to be aware that if they're already sending Zaps here on Nostr then they probably can already figure out that this feature isn't for them. It's for newbies.

Good stuff, Erik since there are some discussion ongoing about mining pools I wonder which one you are using and how relevant this is for you?

Ok so I had a look at the activity and I couldnโ€™t find it in mempool transaction not found so I reversed this and did another one which may have ended up in a fictive channel closure

Is there someone I can contact with this ?

What is the difference between Nostr and simplex I understand itโ€™s more exclusive right in a way where you need to invite / add people to groups ?
