Have seen a small selection of her works before. But yeah, love going to exhibitions in Berlin. We have the C/O for photo exhibitions here, for example. I saw Gordon Parks there for the first time and fell in love.
Yes, it is often calculated art. Every work by him or his collective is loud and aims for maximum media impact and sharability. It's a bit like AI art, I think. There are interesting extensions of art how we know it today, but also really dull, soulless boring stuff.
Ah, I see. Yeah no t, not every Blockbuster Exhibit ( perfect term ) is worth your time. The play with space, proportions, shapes and colours generally impresses in a good way,I guess. Was once in a Anish Kapur Exhibit, waited 30 minutes for a Gun to load with a smelly Resin that was fired up and then stucked clumpsy in a corner ..Laughed loudly, then others laught too.. Went home. Well..
Been at a Kusama Exhibt in '21 in Berlin. It was a alien feeling coupled with astonishment. You‘ll like it.
That’s right. You have to invest a bit more time to build up the feed yourself and some suggestions like yours are really helpful. Once you realise, that you have more control and security it will be more fun here. Hope, #artstr can help to find some interesting content and ppl to follow.
