i use liquid via the aqua wallet and it's useful, no tether.. odell said in argentina over 90% (or 95%?) was tether via tron, i guess the global south uses it far more than the others. jack mallers also said that he needed usd for us, gbp for uk, eur for europe and the other countries wanted tether iirc

how did they "work" exactly? do you know how much they cost the american tax payer, how much money had to be printed? who benefitted from it? and i'll just ignore the part in your note where millions of innocent people die so they're "prevented from generating wealth"

We successfully (mostly nostr:npub1qny3tkh0acurzla8x3zy4nhrjz5zd8l9sy9jys09umwng00manysew95gx, I think) convinced nostr:npub1guh5grefa7vkay4ps6udxg8lrqxg2kgr3qh9n4gduxut64nfxq0q9y6hjy to change the license of Opportunity Cost from source available (no modifications allowed) to MIT License.

Now your PRs are legal. Let's go! :)

lfg!

next step: coldcard source code

phoenix takes 0.4% + 4 sats for lightning payments and boltz.exchange takes 0.1% plus 19 sats for a liquid to lightning swap.. i don't know exactly when aqua uses boltz or sideswap, but they take 0.1% as well

i have to agree. i unfollowed a couple of months ago because there were too many personal opinions and i was just looking for the facts.

but you were wrong though. iirc larry lepard even paid out of his own pocket for ron paul ads when he ran for office. you can say biden/harris would've been worse without supporting what trump is doing or being maga as you put it

weird. just tried to zap another walletofsatoshi user and my own walletofsatoshi address and both worked.. yours is still not going through for me, at least from coinos 🤷‍♂️

there are only sats and unrealized sats

got it, you mean the regular website. but the rss feed does not have those ads and trackers? you just don't want websites with this kind of stuff in your list

i started with ubuntu many years ago, but usually suggest linux mint to new users

i'm curious.. can you send one tx with 1000 bytes op return and see if either your node filters it or if it gets successfully broadcasted to the network? then share the tx afterwards..?

i agree with some of the things already written before, but there's also the situation where you need liquidity because of other things unrelated to bitcoin. when you need to sell, you sell what you can, not what you want.

cdu is black. you said red, red, green (would not be a majority). so i guess i just don't get your point

i like ashigaru/samourai in general, but especially how well their tor implementation works, no orbot needed. paynym support and authentication is great, too..

bluewallet plausible deniability feature is nice. also being able to select multiple receiving addresses in one transaction, which i wasn't able to in electrum..

i'm keeping an eye on the bluewallet fork cypher box, which implements coinos in its app along with other features
